I think rolling windows built into a complex tidy model would be a great next addition to this video! Also because I’m trying to use multiple rolling windows from many variables in an ML model currently, like an RNN! Great work!
Looks fantastic!!! With slider, is there a way to specify both .before and .after? For example, to get the last available value between -14 to -7 days before the current value, I tried to use .before = 7, .after = -14 but this errors with "the start of the range is after the end of the range at location." I wonder if this could be done as a 'between' with relative timescales e.g. 'between_start = -14, between_stop = -7' or equivalent. (This kind of situation comes up a lot with clinical data.)
You can definitely use both .before and .after, but I don't think it makes sense to use a negative for one and a positive for the other, since then those two specifications would conflict. If you use .before = 14 with .complete = FALSE (the default) it will include up to 14 days before the current value.
