My 2nd time ever tripping acid, me and a friend had this album on repeat through a little ipod boombox, walking down the beach alternating between the little shops across the street and back to the beach. Must have listened 20 times all the way through. 2am was the song of the day. Thank you.
worst day running a hot ass kitchen is made so much more bearable thanks to these guys! their music never gets old and it's truly hard to not feel good when SS is playing loud!
These lyrics seem to advocate for individuality and originality, cautioning against blindly following trends or imitating others. The lines "Don't do those things they do, be original" emphasize the importance of staying true to oneself and avoiding conformity to societal norms or media influences. The mention of not changing suggests a desire to maintain authenticity and integrity despite external pressures to conform. The lines "Oh don't you copy me, or them things you seen on TV" further reinforce this message by warning against replicating behavior observed in mainstream media. The repetition of "We don't start all over again, we just make this better again" could imply a commitment to progress and improvement rather than completely starting from scratch. It suggests a belief in building upon existing foundations rather than abandoning them entirely. Overall, these lyrics encourage listeners to embrace their uniqueness, resist the temptation to imitate others, and focus on making positive advancements in their own lives and communities.
these guys deserve some type of award. the entire world should know how generous Slightly is with their great music! 4:28 in Jax Fl and finishing up a fat blunt. peace and love to everyone!
This band caught my attention. I love every tune on this CD. Very smart marketing putting their entire albums on RU-vid. Most bands and artists are too stingy and or scared and too STOOPID to do that, and then they wonder and cry why they don't get more fans or sell more of their CDs and don't have a huge following. This band's marketing manager is brilliant! Now I'm for sure going to buy a few of their CDs and go see them in concert.
performers that never tour and make their bread and butter off radio play have to be stingy. performers that make their bread and butter by touring are looking for exposure to draw crowds into live shows. most artists historically haven't really made jack schitt from album sales alone anyways. gotta tour for those big bucks.
Round the world, Tijuana Brass and i am a kid in the 60's again!!! At 61 i am a kid again every time i hear it and my aunt and her boyfriend have Santana up next! 😂
"The Guru" on track one is so classic! Wow man this must be one of the last productions he did before he passed away. First time I herd this track and it caught me off guard. Man I miss that era of music. Rap today is like Teletubbies to me.
So...the annotations no longer work or were removed? I've always got my annotations on. I remember when the annotations worked for me at one point in time. I guess it's time a real RU-vid hero stepped up and posted some time links.
