Many a times, it's pretty difficult for us all to think consequences to our get down...his story sounds like they haters, the truth is that there's a couple of famiies still depressed and now living off medications from their loses caused by him and associates..live and die by the sword is a fact.
@@shottashabazz6721 salute general...life's all about our choices is why I'm a loner and far from the conventional...too many friends, too many opinions, coupled with alcohol and drugs makes poor thinking is me opinion.
@@Psycho_Like_Micho no it wouldn’t be this man was shot on like 4 different occasions in like 2 years and was hit multiple times everytime and he still chose to go back to the hood with money to move so whatever his family is feeling and going through it’s his fault but RIP but he allowed them to kill him
Unfortunately rappers are only good if they kill and get killed according to most fans. Then act sad when the artist gets killed. I'm not even black and I can see the set up for it!
I’m glad that Vlad has interviewed all of these creative black men; regardless of his motives. Their stories are important and many of them are not nationally known. Without these interviews, people who aren’t familiar with their music would never know what they’ve been through and have the opportunity to learn from their incredible lives. May God bless his family and keep them always.
I see lots of folks on here criticizing Vlad for this video, but my question is when is the "right" time to put this up? When a singer dies don't the radio station play their music ALL day? When an actor dies, don't some TV stations play their movies? The fact is, this is current events, folks who do not know this gentleman may want to know about him. I for one didn't know who he was and from this interview I got a better understanding of his person(seems to be a decent individual). I think some of you should be more concerned with these scumbags that cause pain and suffering in some of our neighborhoods.
Im glad he posted now why wait?? So some person who is only caring about the situation now because they don't know him an he just died an they want to get familiar with who he was an the impact he might have had on the world might affect them in a good way or learn something from it ..vs not knowing him an it blowing over after a few days an they might forget because this is a microwaveable world we living in right now mfs be on the go!!!.need good content asap!! No reason to wait unless it degraded him in anyway..anything other than that is a constant celebration!!
Facts I didn’t know who he was and this is what I needed to know his story, other ppl are going to have their opinion and it’s ok. Vlad kno what he is doing😂
He didn't know the word for 'retired' , so there goes your "smart dude how he articulates himself" right out the window, within the first few minutes nonetheless lol
Anytime I hear fallen people talkin posthumously, it gives me chills. Especially when they seem to be lightheartedly hinting that they kniw "it" will be there soon. Iss almost scary!
Rest easy Slim 400 fly high, prayers & condolences to your daughter. This is actually where I discovered you & man I took a liking and you had one hell of a story & Mad inspiring. Wish you moved out from over there, Rest in Peace 🙏🙏
I can't believe Dolph n now Slim. Both these guys had already survived numerous attempts on their life. There just has to b something deeper goin on. 🙏
CRAZY the fact that he mentioned Young Dolph and wanting to work with him ... I understand life ain't valuable if you don't see value in you...That man had value 🙏
Damn..... It's really bad out here y'all! Wasn't familiar with this man or his music, but he seemed like a very humble and down to earth guy! R.I.PARADISE young man! We GTA do better y'all
You can pray all you like but the man decided to waste his life. Rather than save money for her future he bought 2 diamond and gold necklaces with the phrase "ICE WATA" on them. Obviously God gave him enough chances and decided that he didn't deserve any more.
Unfortunately I knew it was comin. He got touched too many times. He didn't move smart enough🤦on top of that he didn't even have a gun with him😔fuck that lil gun charge when yo life is involved. I know he was texting when that dude walked up 🙈should've been aware of the surroundings
@@marleyggeekd He could have left! He admitted in an interview that I watched (I think it was on maybe No Jumper) that he chooses to stay in the hood. He said that he’s aware of the dangers obviously and he was prepared to fully accept and take responsibility for whatever comes with it including death. He loved the streets more than he loved his life and sadly even his daughter. This is really sad and I hate to say this but he was asking for it! He KNEW they were going to try and get him again, I mean how could he not? The man was shot 9 times 3 years ago, obviously they weren’t playing around or trying to send a message, they wanted him DEAD. Did he think the people responsible were just going to say oh well we tried, whatever it’s all good? Anyway bottom line is he had the resources, whatever he needed to get out and he didn’t want to. RIP
Thanks for these interviews VLAD...the way you interview is almost like giving the person their tribute before their time comes. Their families will always appreciate it. These images & words will last forever! Keep doing what you do! Rest N Heaven Slim4️⃣0️⃣0️⃣❗🙏🏽🕯🕊
@@gloriempaka9474 Vlad does ask police ass questions and when he asked slim 400 who hasn't healed up completely from being shot 9 times if he could put his daughter on camera to ask her some questions I wished I could come through this phone on him literally because that was uncaring, insensitive, callous and all around stupid af
@@dannieisKING I missed that part when vlad asked that so idk I haven't watched the full interview but still people decide to come on vlad for a interview and he's gonna ask certain questions and it's up to them to know how to answer its really that simple
Sad how i never gave his music a chance before he passed, unbelievable, got a lot of his music in the playlist now, goes crazy, wish I found these songs sooner.
"At any given moment anything can happen." Damn.. Rest up Homie, I pray wherever you end up in the afterlife is far more peaceful than where you left on this earth..
You can recognize that he is a good father, I was wondering why he wouldn't curse during the interview, it was because his daughter was there 😥 RIP A REAL ONE SLIM 400
Good for Vlad he was able to talk to this dude before he left! Nice interview didn’t know nothing about this guy and was curious who he was RIP seemed like a good brother
wtf yall dumb he only talk to him becuase he got shot up lol he only put this out because he died and you think its cool omg same with nip king von and every other rapper and when boosie go he gone have a gold mine and you think he making millions off they life and death is good clown
@@MadmaxJackson yeah Vlads motive is fucked up but we still get some insight into who this brother was and the content will remain up to carry on his name so he won’t be forgotten
Damn slim I’ll never forget first hearing you off of your high of trezz mixtape really saw your growth and know you had hella more projects to put out RIP400 real compton native .
After he got shot all those times and survived in his own hood he should have left LA. It was stupid to stay there. This is why gang banging and all that bs is a waste of time and livelihood
Thank God Vlad does these interviews wit all types of artist cuz it's sad looking back and seeing all the interviews he's done wit artist that are dead now it's wicked smh RIPSlim
Man, this interview is sad, especially when he speaks about him and his daughter in the hospital. I got a lil girl and I can't imagine leaving her on this earth without me.
,@@mrno_name9518 does it piss you off that he was in the streets and still loved his daughter? Do you like slim 400? How did you find this video? Can you answer them questions? Before I engage in any back and forth with you! How wrinkled was your face when you were typing that comment?
@@Theworstchannelposting Man, he had plenty of different routes to take given a platform such as this one. Being a man especially a father has carry’s a responsibility. If you aren’t there financially, spiritually and mentally healing and taking care of your family unit who is ? This is just another broken family, and daughter without a father in life. He didn’t think to much about his family or else he would’ve left this life. Everyone should be angry at a life loss, him having wrinkles writing that comment shouldn’t be an issue. The issue should be not enough people understanding this ain’t a lifestyle we should be glorifying
Ok, so how should I give my opinion on this? I'll edit my comment to reflect your message and what you want people to hear. Yeah, I should show no remorse. He chooses that life, right?! He should have grabbed a basketball instead of a gun, huh!? Better he should have followed in his father's footsteps and joined the army. That stupid mom moved him to the hood and ruined his life. They should have moved to the suburbs; you know, good neighbors, everyone is married with a few kids. Dad and mom work 9-5 as bank executives. It would have been good. Then maybe slim would have come out good instead of being dragged across his front yard while being shot point-blank. What should my comment say differently? Please tell me!? You talking to me like your trying to teach me a lesson. Me and mine are good, my family is good. I don't look up to these star the celebs. I see another fucking human with all the same problems that plague this world today. You don't have to think for me or about me. I honestly want to know why the duck would you tag me in your comment!? I need to know why?
I remember watchn this for the 1st time, thinkn Its a blessing to have him still here, and for sure he' should have a very successful future. R.I.Heaven@Slim 400🙏🏼🏆♥️💎💖🌉💫🗺🕊
The way to move different is to stay out the way. Don't be too accessible. You can always find a McDonald's near you but you won't expect to meet the owner. RIP Slim, Dolph,Pop, Nip, X, and list goes.....
Seems like so many of us YBM have experienced the same upbringings and circumstances. Listening to his story seems like as a youth he was exposed to the negativity culture & unhealthy relationships be in the inner city streets. Rip Slim400
It’s weird that he died similar to the way he got shot in his own neighborhood the first time. In the video where he got killed it appears he’s posted on his block sitting in his car until his killer sees and runs up from behind his car and Slim 400 jumps out his car window similar to how he described doing in his last encounter with almost being killed. Slim straight up jumped on his killer and fought for life, and it seems as if killer was scared how he didn’t die immediately and continued holding onto his killer. RIP Slim!
I don't miss gang life .. while kids was getting off school bus going home an do they home work we was getting off school bus having shoot out and fights.. I'm so glad I made it out I been gang free for 20 years now.
RIP slim he legend. He shoulda moved far away after surviving the first shooting you know people out to get you, it ain’t about being scared it’s about living life for your family. Sad to see this killing continue, it’s senseless
You’ve never heard of a white rapper getting gunned down in the street, hell... not even 69 has anything to worry about, but oh LORD! A black man😬😬😬 All of them 🙏🏾
Being from Long Beach I pray for my family everyday. Some of us have the means to move, some don't. Just stay prayed up, stay strapped, and be careful who you let in your house. I don't even want to write R.i.p sad just watching this. I believe us Californians are numb to the caos and crime. Praying for us.

So sad man his mom dad kids are all lost right now so sorry for your loss sending prayers it’s honestly heartbreaking idc what kinda music the man maid or what he claimed he still had a lot of life to live everyone take this as a lesson you never know your last day make sure your good with god and everyone that matters in your life
This my first time hearing about Slim 400...he was cool, calm and laid back....I truly respect his honesty on this street life...my condolences to his baby girl.... C'mon my black people let's STOP THE VIOLENCE!!!! It's not funny no more! It's getting old!!!! I loss my dad to covid-19 and I still feel lost at the age of 38...my prayers are with his family ✝️🛐
Hes not laid back lol he's turnt up in almost everything besides interviews. This interview was right after he got shot before, he doesn't have a lot of energy. But I knew haters would take be after him. He's kinda in your face with his gangsterism. I like him but know that rubs ppl the wrong way

I fw 400s music man, when I saw the news I was just in shock because we just lost Dolph and now we lost Slim. Rest In Paradise man, everyone here can see he was a down to earth and smart man, just taken away for his past 😔💯🙏🏼
Never heard of this guy and wanted to hear a bit more of his story. Seems a good dude, can’t fathom why anyone would want to take his life. Saying that, I can’t fathom why anyone in today’s society would want to be a rapper. It’s a sure quick way to make money, but also a quick way to end up in a box. Those streets have no mercy. RIP.
Do your research on him. He provoked alot of beef. Unfortunately, it caught up to him. After getting shot, he changed positively, but guess it was too late.
@@bassred7065 This was like a Robbery ?murder... a lone gunman comes out of the dark and walks up to slims car,,shoots him 8 times.. but Slim put up a fight,,,
@@chicanoduke I know plenty of legit gangs who preach against the violence so being a gang member isn't an automatic death sentence either. Just saying. REAL gang members work in the community fam it ain't supposed to be about selling dope and robbing people and degrading women. It's these young boys who have ruined gangbangin and turned it into something that is no longer respectable
@@chicanoduke Very ignorant statement my dude, Know plenty of rappers who weren't gang affiliated at all, who got murdered over non sense. All it takes is someone speaking or hooking up with a female and your even under the assumption she's single because that's what she tells you or hell it may even be true but an Ex might see her talking to a "Rapper" and now he gets murdered...But there's plenty of scenarios. So that's just a false statement
I just saw that he passed on worldstar. My first thought was "I wonder how long it'll be before the Vlad flashback video is up". It's been up for 27 minutes at this point.
