Hello everybody, SlimKirby here and welcome to my next Let's Play!
For the first weekend project I've done in a long while, I decided to return with a series I've honestly gotten a lot of mileage out of over the past year, so welcome to the world of Overcooked!
Overcooked! is a co-op restaurant style game where you work in a crazy kitchen and try to cook and prepare orders for your customers. While it seems pretty basic at first, trust me, the levels can get pretty crazy and demanding at times, so do not take this game lightly! Let's try to save the Onion Kingdom from the Ever-Peckish!
This will be a pretty basic playthrough of the game where I'm just going to play through the Story Mode and all the DLC associated with it. I might also aim for getting 3 stars on every level as well, but that's only if the process isn't too demanding for me, because this game is pretty difficult with one person playing, as that one person has to control two characters. I can't stress it enough, this game was made for multiplayer. Maybe I'll showcase some multiplayer in the future (or even the Versus Mode as well), but only if I have the opportunity to. However, even if it is preferable doing this with another person, you can play it single player as well and it does a decent enough job at least.
For this first video, we cover the tutorial level and the first few levels of the game. I think I estimated that I would probably be able to do 4 levels per video, so that's probably what I'm going to aim for. I hope you guys enjoy this playthrough as this has been a really fun game series to get into.
