+ziggystardust48 I agree, however, this album done by Slim Smith close friend Jimmy Riley is a tribute to his fallen friend with an updated riddim. It is Jimmy Riley way of keeping the spirit of Slim Smith alive. I agree, Riley is no Slim Smith, but it is a close replica.

A dem yah bloodclath muzic mi use to skan to when mi a youth, gwan Slim. Listen to the second song a cover of the Great Manhattan's with there original lead singer before Gerald Austin wicked piece music. This album and The Heptones album On top are two of the greatest productions out of Jamaica. FOUNDATION. Sing out Slim!

Slim Smith death was a great lost to the reggae music industry and to jamaica as a whole. He was truly a talent. It's too sad that these guys have to die before they are appreciated. RIP SLIM. 1948 to 1973. Gone much too soon.

Respect for this upload. The cut on this feat Some of Slim Smith hits that really made him shine , like "Burning Fire" an inspired favorite. Slim were not lying when he tell the world that "Love" is the burning fire that drives a man. Listen to "Blinded By Love" & you will agree its all about love. Great Great legacy Slim. Updated by close friend Jimmy Riley, a truly great album. For those that enjoys music at it's finest best listen and enjoy, it is the culture of "Reggae".
