He sold more records then the Beatles & Elvis combined....aaaahhh I’m sure. I’ve never seen even one of these “treasured” records....anywhere.

They never claimed he sold more records than Elvis and The Beatles. The claim made in a previous TV commercial was that Slim had a record at #1 on the UK Singles Chart for the longest time in history, even longer than Elvis or The Beatles. At the time the commercial was aired it was a true statement. His 1955 single ‘Rose Marie’ spent 11 weeks as #1 in the UK. He held that record until 1991.
