If I remember correctly from the first game feeding a slime their favourite food will make them produce double the plorts, for the honey slimes I believe thats the Mint Mangos.

It is the same here, and Largos keep both favourites of their source slimes so you can get four plorts per food. I don't know if they get hungry faster though.

22:30 a classic case of Jon's perception, looks for fruit but only notices the carrots that are right next to a fruit tree . Then you get the jump cut right after and you can tell he finally noticed that very same tree a minute later.

I'm not sure about Jon's insistence on putting the food slimes want to eat, right next to them where there food is. That's just inviting them to break out.

If you have more than (20 Basic or 10 combined) slimes in a pen without double height and a net it wont matter where the food is they will escape.

I enjoyed the first one for about an hour or two. Then came to the conclusion that the game didnt have a point. You'd collect, breed, and harvest slimes. But to no real goal maybe i didnt play long enough but its the same issue i have with games like stardew valley a game i logged a ton of hours in when i first bought it on my xbox, is that there doesnt seem to be a goal in the game. Maybe i didnt play enough of Stardew valley to get to the point in the game where there was an "end game." Like minecraft's ender dragon.

I have the original game and it was fun but it got boring after you got all the upgrades and explored all the places. And yeah this one looks like DLC...not a full game. I think I'd skip this one unless it was on sale.

it's an early access title. but they have changed how a few core mechanics work that would require an overhaul of the first game to do. E.G. the slime science is available and built into the progression this time. which means they have introduced new resources to collect while exploring. in short the same but improved in ways they couldn't with the original.
