i'm not a speedrunner (i've tried speedrunning this game and just speedrunning anything is pretty hard) and i knew that could be done, just that i have no idea what it would be like
6:08 damn there was a gold slime too and you had to miss it for the speedrun, not visible on screen I think but you can hear it to the right Edit: 9:19 same thing happens with a lucky slime Edit 2: 12:37 guilded ginger too, you are either extremely lucky or unlucky because you found them but had to ignore them for the sake of the run
You can download the splits here www.speedrun.com/slime_rancher/resources download the one that's named "Any% Glitchless Splits". Gonna note that those splits only contain the main 9 splits. If you want subsplits (like splits for gates, quarry skip etc) then you'll have to add it yourself as I haven't uploaded them yet, I only started using them recently
i haven't watched your content in years you won't remember me because i had a name change, i think i knew you from gaming with andy idk what happen to him.
Time and patience. I started at at the bottom of the leaderboard and the more I played the better I got. Although now the route has lots of safety and back up strats so it's much more beginner friendly.
brondog it’s funny cause I’d like to even see you try to speed run anything with talking, cause it helps without talking cause if you do talk you focus on talking and playing while playing without talking helps you concentrate more because you’re focused on one thing.
No one has made a TAS yet. Although it's probably impossible considering there's so much randomness like slime/food spawns and slime AI. Slime AI being the obvious TAS killer as they can move the player and items if they move into them, they can eat food and plorts, boom slimes can explode and move items the tas wants to pick up etc..
Basically every run we do something goes differently that we have to adjust to. Sometimes small things like different food spawns, breaking extra crates for newbucks or items. But depending on the rng we might have to take slight detours to get items like a tabby slime / hen or lemons in the ancient ruins
@@ThePigKing Ok. I wonder if it works with perlin noise or something else, because there is always a possibility that there's some feasible form of rng manipulation. Good run!
