I find this to be a very honest form of Gospel, like this is something people can really relate to as a follower of faith coming from his lifestyle, which imo automatically elevates it above pretty much all other gospel music outside of the classical era. It’s a bit edgy for most Christian’s to probably want to put on in the car, but that adds even more, it isn’t going out with the goal of selling to every Christian, making it even more authentic.
