Slint live at the Great American Music Hall, March 9, 2005. I didn't video the entire concert, but I did get all the 'spiderland' songs (except For Dinner, which they didn't play), plus a few others.

Tweez is so underrated. Yes Spiderland is a great album, but Tweez is as good. I love the screechy guitar sound and weird guitar lines. I wrote David Pajo once and asked him what his pedal setup was and he couldn't even remember. He somehow recreated the sound live without the same pedals. That guy wrote some interesting guitar lines. Slint has wonderful tension that I've heard in few other bands.
You know what, i wouldn't go apeshit, I'd rather stand in awe with jaw dropped lower than floor and eyes out and ears bleeding because of such awesomeness!!!

I know what you mean. Kinda sucks and kinda don't. Just made my appointment 30 min ago. What a life? 3k a month. Those who haven't experienced it, will never get it.
So the only way to show your appreciation is going insane? As the band focuses on music instead of heavily moving their bodies, I guess they won't mind the audience doing the same.
Yeah but that little extra bit that is actually structured is so good! I did find a couple of live recordings of the extended version since posting this also.
I've seen Tool, Primus and half a Slipknot gig in the last year. They were all great and at top of my 'to do'list. The Tool lightshow was worth the price of admission - just mind blowing!!! Have you seen any 'At the Drive-in' gigs? I reckon they have some similar parrelels to S.O.A.D. , but they are in now way a rip off band.
