@@maxatkin3090 Yeah I got pushed to the ground a few times but managed to still get up or people would help you up, I didn't feel woried at all during megadeath. But slipknot was unforgiving, I fell down at one point and caught a kick to the eye and had to fight my way back up, regardless was fun, most people are wholesome and help you out.
I was in the 2nd row literally right in front of Corey and I have absolutely no right that I got out of there alive.. Seriously. I've been in multiple Slipknot mosh pits before but this was next level. I couldn't count how many people I watched collapse or were crying begging to get out of there. I lasted half the set but honestly after having to hoist 10-15 people above your head when you're already exhausted just trying to get them out is intense. I was so exhausted and weighed down by sweat that I myself had to leave or I would have passed out. It was proper dangerous in there but God damn do I love it 😍
Me and my buddy were right in front of jim the first 30 seconds after the curtain come down Jim threw a pick and my buddy got it (jealous) and later on at some point I think Jim was impressed by my hair bc I was goin absolutely ham during heretic anthem and Custer and before I forget all those songs and more he looked directly at me pointed at me and said “you” and tried to throw me another pic but the security guard kept it the fuckin prick I was laughing but internally I was ready to jump that barricade for him 😂😂😂😂😂
I was standing to the side of pit haha and made sure I didn’t have people touching me. Took my boyfriend to his first festival.. and he’s anxious around crowds
I saw them at Sydney. Just FYI, don't go in near the front if you are 50kgs. I had to get 5 people out via crowdsurfing. They just stared at me blankly, unable to breath mumbling "helllp". Ngl I think I saved at least a few of them from either suffocation or trampling.
I assure you plenty of people were moshing. I was to the side and am too old and chubby for that these days.. ( I don’t want to die) I was definitely still rocking out and am sore 2 days later 😂 .. I get where your coming from, we do spend too much time on our phones at concerts
I filmed the curtain drop for the memory and put the phone away but instantly began to be crushed, on my way through back through the crowd mosh pits opened up everywhere it was fight for your life, dont let the video decieve you.
They had an awesome set, I might be forgetting something but in no particular order they played Disasterpiece, Wait and Bleed, Sulfur, The Dying Song, Before I Forget, Dead Memories, Heretic Anthem, Psychosocial, Unsainted, Custer, Duality, Spit it Out, then came back for an encore and played People = Shit and Surfacing. I may have forgotten something but it was an epic show.
I attended the show and was standing towards the middle-right of the crowd and the audio mix was actually atrocious. Could only hear Jay’s kick drum and some of Corey’s vocals. The guitars, bass and samples were completely drowned out. I was totally bummed out and left after the first 5 songs. I don’t know if it was because of where I was standing causing some weird phase issue or what (it seemed like one of PAs near my section of the crowd was completely dead and wasn’t putting out any sound). It was strange, because literally every other band I saw on the day’s mix sounded either great or at least serviceable for the environment. Hell, PWD played just before them on the other stage and the sound was bloody incredible! Unfortunately, it was probably the worst sound I’ve ever heard at a live event. It’s a shame because it seemed like they were putting on a good performance. Their sound was much better when I saw them live at Rod Laver Arena for the Grey Chapter tour cycle.
@@brandontadday6288 shit that sucks. Audio was PERFECT all day for us and where ever we were. Id say it must have been where you were. I was actually suprised how good everything sounded.
