@@aleksanderwojczak765 Dude is a monster guitarist, I think he knows what pinch harmonics are lol. The terms are pretty much interchangeable, goofy behavior to correct someone on that
I never thought of doing artificial harmonics with the pick and middle finger like that. That’s so rad!! Usually I’ve only seen it with the thumb and index finger on classical guitar. Sick cover!!!
Thank you! I picked it up from Eric Johnson, but I think Jim does it sometimes too. I'm not using the pick actually, just my middle finger tapping if you're referring to the harmonics in the intro.
Man this song just hits a native brother in his feels and soul, great cover mr acredoe always great to watch someone play a song better than I ever will. Ps that's a dope asf shirt man
Dont care what anyone says i cannot never get tired of this...since 08 something about the groove its my #1 song dont care if they its , eh its a single ..good more known the song gets took 5yrs im still jammin to this a bit its a hell of a song and good cover too oh and subbed
This shit is so beautiful I used to play drums back then and recently idk playing the guitar just came to me I wanted to try it and I love it I already love music as it is but watching this is dope as fuck bro
So f***** good!! Man I am looking for a guitar to play metal drop B. I really like this guitar... I am between the same your guitar, Telecaster Jim Root, or LTD 1000. I dont know! 😅
There's a link in my linktree in the bio where I list out all my gear from my interface to picks and everything. But for Drop B I use D'Addario EXL 116s, they're 11-14-18-30-42-52.
When I bought mine in 2020 they were $1,499 new and I talked the rep I bought it from down to $1,399. The price on them has gone up a few times since then though, they’re $1,949 now.
They’re USA made and about as top of the line as you can get with Fender without going to the custom shop, they’re absolutely immaculate guitars. But you can find plenty of other guitars with the EMG 81/60 combo for much cheaper if that’s what you’re looking for. No problem and thanks for the kind words! 🤘🏻
@@BlackacreDoe Thanks for the advice dude, I looked o er your Channel and found lots more slipknot covers and lessons so you earned a sub from me. Very underrated
@@BlackacreDoe I recommend you give it a listen. I guess both being written by Jim Root makes it more likely it’s different versions of the same lick. Anyway great cover!!
I don’t think they’re related, both are just arpeggiating a chord which happens all the time. I also didn’t realize that it’s not originally HIM’s song either, they also have a cover version of it. Thanks for the kind words 🤘🏻
