I just watched my video of them from 2021 with Jay...that version was 3:28, this was around 4:20. Hot damn, big difference, the band was struggling to keep up at 1.5 speed, this sounds so tight in comparison.

Sou argentino e a verdade é que invejo o Brasil por ter uma fera dessas tocando bateria.

Em banda gringa sim, mas ele fez isso com o Sepultura. É bem nítido nos dois últimos álbuns, principalmente no Quadra em que ele teve mais liberdade. Ótimo disco. Eloy deu um baita gás pra banda nos shows

MUCH MUCH MUCH better. Staying pretty close to the album tempo is certainly hard live, but going too uptempo ruins the groove (and I like grind core)

It really helps Corey on those “rappy” verses, much more space in the pocket for him!!! The perfect choice for this band

​@@felipebatista06 O Slipknot toca sem metrônomo/tick nos músicos melódicos. Então eles vão basear a velocidade na bateria e nos outros da percussão. Se o batera ou o resto da percussão acelerar porque tá com a adrenalina alta, o que é normal num show, o resto acelera junto. Também pode ser uma escolha da banda fazer com uns 10 a 15 bpm acima, mas acho difícil porque a música já é muito rápida e as frases não soariam da maneira que devem.

I was so disappointed in the last Austin show. Jay was consistently dragging and it was awful. Thank the metal gods for the BIGHOUSE!!! I've said for years he is the best metal drummer.....ever. Just scooped my ticket; have to see him in person.

Joey was a great drummer and he brought a distinct style, buy Eloy is actually a better drummer. These are just facts.

Realmente não vai replicar o Joey. Eloy está fazendo melhor que Joey. Cada um tem sua época claro! mas basta comparar hoje com Eloy e antes com Joey. Até as notas da batera está mais limpo e Eloy está preenchendo perfeitamente o vazio que o Joey “deixou” …😅

Ninguem falou que o jay nao é um bom baterista. Ele é um otimo baterista, porém o Eloy é muito superior. Eloy estudou bateria a vida inteira Ele toca desde o metal ao jazz se quiser. Consegue tocar qualquer estilo. É um musico completo. Jay é muito bom mas o Eloy é melhor.. simples. Isso nao desmerece o Jay.

Yeah! I was impressed with the fill on 3:56 too. Eloy vibes and swings on a good way. It's beautiful and, like you said, BRUTAL.

That's the only way I can describe Eloy = Clean. Well and POWERFUL!!!
