From what I know, 1st Avenue 1999 got leaked, and all of the Bootleggers said F it and just started posting concerts they had. Felipe and Walpknot stated the Slipknot video trading has ended. This guy leaked 1st avenue 1999, and Chris got upset because he wasn't supposed to leak anymore of his personal recordings, so he stated he won't post some 2001 full shows and interviews, which sucks
Joey and Corey having the times of their life, whether its soundcheck, rehearsal or concert... especialy Joey... god of drums! he and his kit was ONE WHOLE
Imagine being somehow allowed in soundcheck (maybe you slip by unnoticed, who knows) and you're like "a lot of guys for one band...come on play something before I get pinched..." Then it dawns on you... "...this is Slipknot...Holy shit..." Because January 1st 2000?! NO ONE KNEW WHAT THEY LOOKED LIKE. NO ONE. What a moment to treasure. Caught? Maybe. Worth it? God yes!
I’m surprised they’d basically do a full on performance in their sound check. Feel bad for Corey, so he was basically doing the all out scream/shouting twice a day?
@@shronkykong3161 maybe when he joined the band they were playing older songs in rehearsal sessions before starting to write new songs to check on him? Or maybe he played/learned it from personal interest ^^
I was at this show…it was called Y2K CHAOS and it was at an old club called supertoad in Des Moines. This was a great show mudvayne and katakalysm put on a great show too!
Imagine being a sound guy at this time and not knowing who they are and they just show up like… “Uh yea we have 9 members and have to mic up 12 kegs” lmao legends
