Honestly, this is one song that deserves to be played fast live, the simple riffs, the amazing solos, it's like it should've been that speed, it's not messy at all, it just gets the crowd going. Y'know, kinda like when Metallica played Whiplash in Seattle 1989, FAST, but the songs simplicity just makes it work like magic
They do it because they are far left democrats. It's a "politically correctness" thing. Very lame on Slipknot's behalf. Nobody that can't hear the instrumental side, is reading these lyrics and having a good time. It's the lyrics of a pissed off a pissed off high school student, without actually hearing the instrumental side.. the sole lyrics are trash. Just like any song/lyrics.. it needs instrumental noise to "bring it alive".
Remember that time the nine were on Conan and surrounded him and six just started humping his leg and Conan was just fucking shaking? Replace Conan with mgk,and then laugh, and laugh, and laugh lol
@@warzonechucky2644 what did you have to do for them? I worked "security" at the St. Petersburg Indy races for several years. I met a few drivers but it wasn't Slipknot. 😎🏍💨👍
No chance. Were much better when Joey and Clown were in the band and when they were younger, Corey's singing was better back in the day and they naturally had more energy.
@@dannyw7479 yeah I prefer Joey too for sure. I mean them as a whole. Equipment, the band playing together, all that shit. They have gotten a lot better as a band, especially with Weinberg on drums. I didn't care for him at first but now they have melded nicely.
I remember the first time me and my friends all heard Slipknot for the first time at Ozzfest 1999 in Nashville, we all just stood there with our chin on the ground for the first 2 or 3 songs, it was totally different than anything we had ever heard and we were instantly fans.
When watching a live metal band makes u cry cuz ur life is never gona except the inner metal head I've always been 😔 ill never be able to attend a metal concert. Ever. Fml
weird old dudes wearing masks rocking and headbanging harder than a 30+ karen rock wannabe who wants to make pink the color of metal, and launching his own nail polish line
MGK insulted Slipknot, calling them "weird old guys wearing masks" because Corey kindly refuses to do a song for his album (he was very humble in his message, saying he was just not the good person to be able to do this song, adding that they could find someone who could be better than Corey to do this). So Slipknot decided to imitate Eminem and to get him out of this genre. They are so right, this man has nothing to do in rock if he insults legends like Slipknot. He's a rookie, he has to respect all the people which were there before him and which wrote a line in rock history.
