Thats right Corey Preach! Metal/Rock will always be relevant because its comfortable in its skin and content with itself. It doesn't need to be in the forefront..in fact, Metal especially stands for everything that the forefront isn't. ..Personally, I have always looked at pop music as make believe music..not to say it isn't catchy or nice sometimes but I feel like its the more obscure genres of Music that exhibit the real/raw emotions and consequently have a much stronger basis in reality.

Today I'm looking back at Paul and Joey an it hurts

I still miss Paul... I'm not happy with how the death was handled socially... I feel like that they harassed his wife to the point of no return... it made Paul look bad, discussing all of the drugs that were found in the hotel room. I was not happy with any of this! I still feel that is here and that he is very angry with how his band mates, family, girlfriend/ wife, friends and fans!! the fact that we miss him and wish he was here doesn't stop us from surging into Slipknot's music hearts first!!: \m/ \m/

Slipknot continues to release new albums, aswell as Korn, Disturbed, Five Finger Death Punch, and so many more. We still have them, and they've been around since the 90's. Someone please explain to me, an old Slipknot fan who lost touch with them, what this all delirium should mean. I would have loved to testify Jordison out of the band with Paul alive. I DO NOT doubt Corey's genuine sufferance for the loss of his dear friend, but is the context I don't understand. They mourn the loss of a friend, they threw out another one. And don't tell me Joey was problematic, he has always been, and I highly doubt Paul's Death helped, because Paul was HIS brother. So, I can't understand. I really can't. To prove love toward someone the best way is to take care of his legacy, that doesn't mean travel the world making billions over his death, but even take care of a problematic human being that happened to be the original inventor of the band and the person the dead one loved the most. I don't get it, but I'm probably missing something. I didn't love Joey best, I loved the entire band. But this confuses me a lot.

Tbh I would be a proud Slipknot band member for Paul Grays death with giving all you did for him. A LOT of bands don't respect for their bassist and don't give them a big role in the music as you can't hear them cut through the mix. Whereas with Paul you could definitely hear him in a any song which shows respect for him which other bands don't have for a bassist. This goes beyond the bassist stereotype of not being very important. Bass is a badass thing to play.

I wish people would stop trashing bands, I get that we all have our own opinions and that band's music might not be the best. But unless you have made an album, gone out on tour, and worked your ass off to try and make it in the music industry, you cannot say that a band is just a whiny group of posers. Most posers would have given up halfway through an album or tour. A whiny group of posers wouldn't have gotten a following. Honestly, if you don't like a band, you don't need to comment hateful things on their music videos. You can hate a band without starting a fight.
