slipping and sliding 

Trying to avoid the flatter ground holding all the water and hit the valley for this ride.
It is so rough with all the dirt washed away leaving all the rocks exposed more. I was a little out of sync with the bike today with the technical riding, I just can't commit throttle when I should.
Where I slid down the rock, there is a pool that looks shallow, but it is not. I found that out last winter when I almost saw the front wheel disappear. I had my suspicion that it was going to be slippery and not even a tip toe over it could stop the back wheel sliding.
