This is a great recap, wow! Glad you were there and had hikers come along just in time! In my Wilderness First Responder classes, they always say to prepare to be out for 6 hours to overnight for a rescue and to always use your patients layers to help them first.

Very awe inspiring video. You are to be commended for your excellent care in a very scary situation. You saved her life. Thank goodness you are ok too and that fellow hikers came along.And you convinced me to get the Garmin for my very first mini hike on Blood Mountain. Serendipity and help from up above on the chill you got on buying the blanket. True on being a nurse and not able to help herself. This will stay with you forever.😊❤🙏

Sloggy, we met north of Damascus (I fixed you the bagel sandwich) I intend to start north from Bethel on Sept. 5 and finish Maine at Monson. I found this interesting as I will go through this area and something like this can happen to any of us. I carry from Walmart chemical hand warmers for this reason. Good Luck Orly
