You don't bail out from the holding tank, Matlock. You wait till morning to see a judge. For minor crimes you're released with a follow up court date. Bail only applies if you have not been granted release and are awaiting trial in the county jail. This is usually only the case for more serious crimes or people with criminal records. Slawp probably say in the holding tank for a few hours eating bologna sandwiches and granola bars and then was released with a date appear in court. Probably via Zoom since he's not a CA resident. The law is not rocket science. You have to see a judge first, who sets your bail amount and conditions, before bailing out.

They didn’t post the rest because he failed in escaping people…. It’s pretty obvious. He prolly sat in gen pop for the weekend and was OR’d. Probably court case most likely dropped unless they built a previous case which doesn’t seem likely as this looks like a visit to SF… he probably finally gave up or got tackled and took the artist approach and got chummy w the cops and prolly had a full length convo that he wouldn’t post because it’s embarrassing but that convo may have helped him on the paperwork side of things….
