A short tour of a typical Slop Tank onboard Chemical Tanker.
Slop tanks are normally used for Decanting operations as well. Apart from normal fittings located in any Cargo tank of a chemical tanker, we also have Equalizer/Decanting pipelines/Valves.
Since Slop is connected to ODME, there is a recirculation drop line as well & also Marpol drop into the slop tank.
