Absolutely love this. I can understand the “Billie Eilish’s” comparisons, I listen to Billie Eilish a lot since last year. But I think Victoria is doing it in her own way. Billie Eilish didn’t invent anything new but she globally popularised this style of music and I understand it influences a lot the new generation born after 2000’s. So I don’t think this is a copycat of Billie Eilish. Victoria is just doing what she likes and she is doing that AMAZINGLY. This song is utterly beautiful and so well produced. Winner material. I don't like this style of music at all, but I admit it's a beautifully made song. I feel as if my mother hugs me and says "Everything will be fine". I feel the same way (I guess) when I first time listened to this.. Something inside me forced me to eventually cry in silence as soon as the song ended. It's sad but at the same time, gives me hope. Eurovision Hub reactors should learn to react with emotion like this guy.

We Bulgarians, really do understand their biggest expectations from Little Big band, but that's not the way of leading the score! The "October Revolution" in Russia is long over and the Bulgarians don't want to have anything to do with it! We must state: This form of act is absolutely unacceptable, immoral and disrespectful and do not match the fair play policy between Eurovision participants! This really goes rather beyond the civilized way of communicating between us, and all those Russians must stop their so disgusting and targeted campaign towards the Bulgarian entry for Eurovision! The song is really cool, very much reminiscent of the style of Billy. It is unclear how the song will be presented on the stage, but the more interesting it will be then to surprise actor ... hope to surprise. In general I liked the song. There is in it something magical.

As already shared I love this song. It awakens all my emotions, the story, melody and music lead me through my history and the path of my life into the future. This song and the message so honestly shared with us by Victoria and her team is what we highly sensitive people need. This is what the whole world needs in this dangerous and fearful time. The world filled with egoism, hatred, racism, fascism, war, terror, complete inequality and the powerful and complete narcissists with their lies and attempts to make people hate each other and make hatred grow. With their games to hurt us and make us doubt ourselves. I am highly sensitive and have been through a process of transformation and wake up calls. Hi Sloth! Have you heard about the show "Eurovision: Shine a Light" that will be broadcast in place of the ESC, with all the 41 songs in a non competitive format? The singers of Eurovision 2020 will also perform past Eurovision songs from different locations in their home countries. BTW, I reacted on "Community" on Your channel 2 days ago, but I had to post my reactions again today, because they weren't visible on other computers. That's why I'm posting this reaction here, to make sure it doesn't disappear.
Let's keep the ball rolling Here is my lyrics interpretation for this song: Great, feel my head is taking over me Ten déjà vus a day And each time I'm getting colder Pain, I should let it go (The whole song is a monologue of a person with mental health issues i.e. depression/schizo/post-natal stress etc. And this is a powerful introduction to their world, how they felt - like the head is taking over them, having 10 dejavus a day, feeling cold, feeling pain. But they are trying their best to endure it. Notice the word "GREAT "at the beginning, like the pain is unbearable and they are telling themselves to be positive) Your lies burn like sugar in my wounds In time my wound will be a scar (Family and friends who deal with mentally ill people often tell lies, in this case WHITE LIES, in order to calm them down in uncomfortable situations, or to reduce their sufferings. Like telling them "It's OK, nobody's hating you, you'll be fine, nobody's watching you." Medically speaking, sugar helps wounds heal faster as it is a dehydrating agent that absorbs moisture and stop bacterial infection. In this case, the lies became a comfort to the person, and helps their wound (i.e their sickness) to heal faster) Strained but my tears are getting sober now And I've been here before so Weight that I'm holding on my shoulders I'm gonna let it go (Drunk people are unpredictable, crazy and create nuisance. The emotion comes naturally as you understand the context of the lyrics and the message behind it. I might be overthinking this, but at least this is my own interpretation on this song. This did make it into my Top Five, but only after my second listen. It has dropped a little since then, and Croatia has been rising slightly. It's a bit like with Italy, where it sounds impressive at first listen, due to the arrangement and the melody... but it can get a little repetitive "in ti-i-i-ime" ;) . "Lullaby" is probably the perfect term to describe it. Still a contender for the win, obviously.
I have this in my Top 3 right now. Yes, many songs get repetitive...and I'm feeling that a lot this year. Many have dropped off a bit. Which is exactly the opposite for Norway...that keeps going up and up and up in my book. ....but some start strong for me and then fall off a bit...more so than last year.
Hey. Love your reaction videos. Id love to know your thoughts on copyright and whether you’ve had many limitations. I find you play the whole song, whereas others Eurovision reactors take measures to mitigate copyright issues. I’d love to start up my own channel eventually :)
Thank you so much! Yes, a lot of others are worried not about copyright but about preserving their ability to monetize. ALL of the artists allow usage of their videos this year except Spain, United Kingdom, and Cyprus to my knowledge. So if they chop the songs up it's either 1.) They want to do a breakdown in that style and/or 2.) They are concerned about monetization. For me I would rather do it like this and have a quality video in full and the record companies can have the money for the reaction. It helps my channel grow and me in the long run to do it this way in my mind. Then when I do reviews those can be monetized. So no, most songs are allowed under fair use to be reviewed and criticized. I've been written to by multiple singers thanking me for reactions and such; most are highly appreciative and kind. I had 1 copyright strike but by writing to the label in a kind and understanding way, they graciously removed that strike and let me keep the video up. It's all about how you want to go about it. I'd just suggest giving a review...an actual review and not just watching songs and making faces. That's not fair use. You have to add something...like critique or criticism (positive or negative). Watching a video and making faces does not qualify; I deleted some of my first reactions for that reason because they did not meet the definition of "fair use." I hope I helped you a bit there. :-D And good luck with your channel if you decide to start and do this. It's very rewarding and you meet a lot of great people along the way! :-D

So my top 10 ( or something ) is taking form. The only thing ( I think ) I am sure of is nr 1-3 . Ukraine, Lithuania and The Netherlands ( in unspecific order )! I love them so much. ❤️ The rest is ( also in unspecific order ) Bulgaria, North Macedonia, Finland, Iceland, Sweden ( still not Dotter but ... ), Serbia ( could maybe be in my top 3 as the new Fuego. Love the energy ) and mayyybe Israel. I´m not sure I really like the song from Israel or if it´s the arabic sound that catches me. I worked one year in Egypt and came to love arabic music. Especially the cheesy, arabic love songs like this one from Amr Diab. I also love Australia but at this point I think it´s to much theater, to much show. I would love to hear the song with a clean performance. If that happens it will be in my top 5. I have sooooooooooooooo many that I love....I know I've got Bulgaria, Norway, Italy, Lithuania, Ukraine, Romania, Iceland, Serbia, Finland, Israel, Azerbaijan, Belgium, Switzerland, Croatia, Germany, Poland, Georgia, Portugal, Albania, United Kingdom (in no order) very high....but I have a lot to sort out. I think my Top 3 is set but the order is not determined yet....I may change my mind also. ;-p ....And I named about 20 songs there.....but that's me....I love so many of them. Ranking the songs is the HARDEST video for me to make every year. Sure I have my favorites but picking places is difficult because there isn't much disparity between....say 6th place and 18th place....so it's hard to go and rank why I like this song over that song. I usually have a clear Top 3 and then the rest is harder to come up with.

Finland is now in Martial law ( don´t know if that is the correct translation ) and we are now stuck in our Island with borders closed, schools are closed and I will work from home from monday. I have also been really sick, the flu or corona I don´t know because they will not test people here if you do not need medical care. Getting better now, but the whole world is upside down. Sounds crazy the way you have to deal with angry people at your job. I hope it gets better, but I don´t think so. People in panic can often behave crazy, so scary! Stay safe! ♥️
A bit overwhelmed by work but yeah...haha I guess you could say that. People are acting like monsters over this virus...beating each other up over toilet paper and stuff. It has me a bit stressed. I'm worried that the governor might shut down businesses because we've already gotten down to the "no gatherings over 25 people" stage. I'm not worried about the virus at all to be honest (for myself....I do worry for others and those in Italy and places where it's gotten really bad)....but I worry about overreaction from people in panic. Thank you for asking. I've played a little Dotter "Bulletproof" to lift my spirits...haha....but watching some of the news, going to work, and trying to plan a bit in the meantime. Ahhhhhhhhh I love this so much. I was surprised that it was number 1 in the odds. After I made the video (cause I'm all caught up save for Albania revamp)...I went and looked. My jaw dropped. I expected maybe Top 10....but #1.....but I do adore this. It may get my #1....I have to process and everything though...haha....can't make a snap judgement on the first day of hearing it.
