Let me introduce to You Ľudovít Štúr, the father of the literary Slovak language and, I guess, the most important national hero of Slovakia today. Plus, several more interesting characters, all in a rich protestant-panslavic sauce. Yummy!;)

For me, the whole series of films is nice, it also goes into deeper topics. But when the author HAD to jump from Bernolák to the Bernolák military unit in 1939. The whole story should be told. For a balanced telling of the whole story, let the author mention the names of the Polish units that invaded the territory of Slovakia in 1918, 1920, 1938 were used in the division of Orava, Spiš, Kysúc and then to maintain order in these areas... during the pacification of "unconscious persons of Polish origin" ", who were Slovaks? Who joined Hitler's division of Czechoslovakia in 1938? How were Orava and Spiš divided? According to the territorial principle, according to the nationality principle? 1939 was the result of Polish actions in 1918, 1920, 1924, 1938 against Slovaks. It's sad how many Poles still like to bring up the year 1939 (thanks to the exceptions), but are obstinately silent about their previous military actions.

I HAD to jump from one topic to another ONLY to show the importance of the person (plus, I find it kinda funny that a military unit is named after a priest/linguist). I was actually considering going deeper into the topic when in Orava (so at the end), but when I started reading about it, it basically boils down to kindergarten: - you started it! - no, you started it! - no, you started it! - no, YOU started it!! I would have probably loved it when I was in kindergarten. But I am not anymore. And then, when I looked at the map, what the whole fuss is about... With all due respect to the people who live there, it is several villages somewhere there in the mountains. So, in the end, I deemed the whole show a waste of my sanity. Don't get me wrong, I do appreciate Your commentary very much and You make a number of important points; it's just that the story as such and how people argue around it makes me sad.
