The lit views from chapter 3 are back, this time paired with a good portion of natural disaster and flooding in Slovenia. Great conditions for thru hiking. But, the hike is not over yet ;-)

Wear proper high- heel hiking boots!

I’ve been hiking in boots for many years in the alps and unless it is really alpine or winter, I don’t use them anymore. My feet feel a lot better in trail running shoes and I’m faster. Plus ankle support ist basically not a thing ;-) for me, boots have only disadvantages these days
