Nice! The Zephyr was ROLLING. Somewhere around here I've got a clip of the Chief running at what must be it's 90 mph speed limit in eastern Arizona - but no snow ;-) - great clip!
If someone stepped in between the cars near the end of the train and was killed how would the engineer who is a mile away at the front even know that there was a fatality?
Exciting stuff let me tell you. I was on the edge of my seat waiting for the Amtrak train (undoubtedly 4 plus hours late) fly by a coal train that was slowed down so it could pass!. Does it get any better?
It would be great except why do all camera folks feel the need to stand in front of that god forsaken railroad crossing bell? It’s the most annoying sound ever!! Christ man, get out and walk a 1/4 mile down the tracks. I mean unless you’re physically incapable of doing so. You would get such better sound than that effin bell. This video would’ve been 1000% better if there wasn’t that effin bell. When I would go vid trains in the snow, I love showing how truly silent and dangerous they can be. Great video A+, But like I said if ya coulda sloshed about a 1/4, 1/8 mile to your right it would be killer!! If you are physically unable my apologies cause it is a spooky video.
