I used that order to match the Chinese sentence more closely (我和我的老公), and actually I don't think it's wrong anyway, it's a normal way of saying it in casual speech (prescriptivist vs. descriptivist I suppose). Anyway, I was mainly just following the Chinese word order so the translation was easier to refer to.
