For the sock situation i think its one of those things where like if you took a needle and poked it through your shirt and then took it out, it would go back to normal. Just take a large needle and tie the string through the hole and weave it through the socks again.

Concerning your wrist I suggest you get checked for Kienböck's disease. I also developed pain in my wrist a couple years ago out of nowhere. Your ‘symptoms’ sound the same as mine did
