I realized I am more productive when I start my morning slow, go for a walk and have my breakfast. I used to jump straight to work and I felt horrible, which negatively impacted my productivity.
I think I have subconsciously operating under slow productivity but I beat myself up about it. What has worked is syncing my productivity, exercise, and diet to my cycle. Loved this video. Makes me feel ok about my energy and attention fluctuations.
Hi Katie, this was a beautiful video but I think you severely under-credited Cal Newport. You’ve outlined his work almost verbatim, but only mentioned him once briefly as a proponent of slow productivity when in fact you summarized his entire book.
