Bec. I heard you mention my name. Your so kind and generous. I loved attending your class. I had such fun letting go of precision and perfection. I will be in next Tuesday to show you my finished pouch. Still working on the needlecase; enjoying the process ❤❤❤
I like the French towel as the inner layer for your new huswif. If the layout in your first one is working for you - with the exception of the drawstring pouch you want to add - there's no reason not to do that layout again. Maybe that will free you up to get back at it. And it sounds like you need more time to recover from the disaster birthday bash. I love your new needle book. 😊
The needlebook is a beauty,Bec! I think creativity can be influenced by many factors,we are not machines, sometimes we need to stop and have a new start. Tfs❤
Bec I love your videos just how you do them! That was so unexpected to see me be mentioned so nice of you. Once I found the layout that worked for me in my huswif I just repeat it. I have been making these since October last year and will do a video of how I started and what I find useful.
Hi, found you through Roxy Creations. I think you should be inspired and make your second husswif based on your first. You’ve developed a style. Still just as beautiful and creative. Its gorgeous. I want to recommend a podcast Ive fallen in love with , The Chateau Diaries, here on RU-vid. Please let me know if you watch it, and what you think. You ladies are so talented. Love the creativity here. Good luck with the store. It looks like a dream.
Love seeing your process for your needlebooks… I get stuck All the time with my Quilting, procrastinate way too much lol 😮.. in my opinion the fluro yellow check is too bright for the look you usually go for. Sorry to hear about the 18th!! I think I would be feeling the same. I have just brought your Gosling Quilt pattern looking forward to starting it. x❤
Thanks for sharing your projects and “stuckness”, Bec. I love seeing other people’s WIPs and don’t always want to sit through a 50 min tutorial. What if you used the neon yellow fabric as an accent? It could line the inside of a drawstring pouch or edge a pocket. I’m sure the answer will come to you - you can never force these things. Adore your latest needle book ❤ Am hoping to make one similar with the kit I just received from you. Melanie 😊
Great video. love your work. I think being stuck part of the making process, it should be called thinking time!!! I think the yellow would be great used in pieces and as a binding to connect the front to the back as the colours go so beautifully together. Enjoy your stitching time x
Hey Bec , enjoyed your video , I think you could still use your neon check , personally all the other colours you have picked are a bit samey samey , colour wise try some different textured fabrics in different colours and add small pieces of the bits you love . Just my personal opinion . I think using the same style as your previous one is fine maybe just use a couple of different elements which could help you move forward. I’ll look forward to seeing what you come up with !!
Enjoyed your video, Bec. The Needle book is beautiful. Its good to know others get stuck too. I really like the citron check. It suits the outer fabric so well. Maybe take a break from it for a little while. I was stuck on one of my projects and was advised to have a holiday from it. A couple of days later, I worked it out and haven't stopped since.
I really don’t think there is an issue with making your hussifs similar or the same, they are after all tailored to your individual needs. Your needle books are all quite similar in construction aren’t they? Also, I have a heap of vintage fabrics I need to destash, but not sure if you would be interested in looking at them.
