Recorded in the year of 1995. In a Cellar in Salem, Massachusetts.
Slow Train
Drums; John Tashjian
Guitar; Greg Burgess
Bass; Jim McCullough
A few guys would get together and play some music. We all gigged out in different bands and sometimes in the same band. This was a way to get our chops into shape and keep us out of trouble. Looking back some of the most fun I ever had.
The set up was; A drum kit some amps with nothing had a mic on it except a small PA for just the vocals.
I recorded the room with a Tascam DA-P1 and two SM81 Microphones.
This RU-vid Channel has enough subscribers and views that I could have monetize it long ago. I choose not to, I post here for the sake of ART. Thank you, Come again.
Now
I bought the DA-P1 in 1995 And start to record (just about) every time I would play. I have over a 100 DAT tapes. 90 minuities to 120 minuities long. So you do the math. I stopped playing around 2007 and during the pandemic I started up again. Some friends have asked about these tapes and wanted to hear them. So I thought this would be the best place to do that.
I am not doing this for money. This music is the sound track of my life. So I do not expect or want anyone one else to make money from these tunes directly or indirectly. I have no problem people listening to them and downloading them to listen to, or even using them in a video they are putting together. But not to make money. Do it for the sake of ART. If people were motivated by Art instead of Money there might be less problems in the world. who knows people seem to have trouble with competition and who has what. So they would mess it up any ways. I'm just saying don't try to make money with the sound track of my life. Thank You
