Slow speed u turns and other slow speed motorcycle skills are the basis for the skills that will save your life out on the street. Learning to have total clutch control such as learning how to use only your clutch when taking off, and not allowing the motorcycle to die, is the very first lesson every rider should learn to do without having to use excessive or high rpm's or riding the rear brake. Most riders, even most motor officers never take the time to develop total clutch control and thus never learn to operate their bikes like those motor officers who do. This exercise will be used to practice and develop advanced clutch and throttle control while also using rear brake, while making turns and leans and developing emergency braking and obstacle avoidance skills.
