No cuts or fancy edits. Just an hour and 17 minutes of driving over a mountain pass that hasn't been crossed in a while. Towards the top it was exciting due to washouts and slippery mud with exposure at a few spots, but otherwise it wasn't too bad.
(The idea of SLOW TV was taken from a channel we've loved for the last several years called SV Delos. They started putting up videos of them just sailing around the world.)
So, enjoy this in the background or put it on the big screen and settle in for a ride on the hood of Goose!

What a fantastic ride over the Mountains some parts look So scary. You wouldn’t want to breakdown out there in the middle of nowhere As help will take forever to reach you

So many times on this trip we're where help wouldn't be able to reach us. Scary to think of at times, but worth it for the adventure.

As beautiful and somewhat sketchy in parts as this road is, I can see why you guys chose to leave it one continuous normal speed episode...breath taking!!

That was one of our favorite drives! Here's the normal episode we headed over the pass in. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-BY_5bw4FQ9I.html

Your intro you're editing the vibe is so positive you guys have something so marketable.. it appeals to that mid 30 demographic that wishes they could break away escape the mundane and do exactly what you did..blessings

Nov. 1st. 7:56 EST . Finally a day off where I could watch this entirety . TV screen like you suggested. 🙂 As Remote and barren this is, there’s a certain beauty and spiritual mystery to this venture. Loved the llamas 🦙 crossing. That was really cool! There looked like a few scary moments, but to be expected going through the pass.

Great trail, great views!! Nothing like the satisfaction of going trough a route that you have no clue if you are going to make it all the way or not... Does that pass has a name or just one remote local trail?

That was a great track. Greasy and a bit tilted out to the ledge at spots, but it worked out.

Great video. Thanks for posting. Can I ask what camera you use and what method/location of mounting. The picture is incredibly stable so I assume it’s on a gimble or is it image correction? Thanks

Its actually just a GoPro 5 mounted on a suction cup to the windshield. 👍

@@itchyfeetoverland2142 thank you! 90% of the drive it was on the outside and then when it started raining a bit we moved it inside for the last bit.

1:02 beautiful! Do you guys have so many amazing photo ops that you just have to keep moving? I would be stopping to get the drone up every 10 min on that road. Thanks for posting

It's true. Sometimes we are just seeing so much that we could stop every couple minutes. Sometimes we do stop that often! Haha. On this pass we were genuinely thinking it may be impassible and I know I wouldn't stop worrying until we knew we could make it through so we just stopped a couple times to take pics. If we get back to Peru we WILL do this pass again and maybe camp on it.

@@DirtSunrise just 37 min in or so and completely absorbed with the drive. Thank you so much from NYC. RFB got me over to your channel. I recall, i think, probably a year ago, maybe more, that you met Richie from.Boston because you have the same vehicle? Like in Utah or such? Or maybe i am making that up! Very grateful to you for your videos. Gracias!
