Hi everyone, thanks so much for tuning in! I'm still trying to get more comfortable in front of a camera, so excuse me when I seem to look everywhere 😏 Also I have a special guest towards the end🐶For anyone interested, my ebay store is: www.ebay.com/usr/fleursdemontagne . No obligation to purchase from me, just in case someone wants to help support me or they see something in the video they want. I really appreciate you just being HERE! 🙏
Love the caterpillars you made. Please share how you made them. Jason Adams did a vid on buttons yesterday. Pools of light is a bucket list item for me. The only way I will get one is if I find one out and no one knows what it is. You are right about being grateful. I love to look at other’s collections but just try to keep in mind that we can’t have it all. Love your sweet doggie❤
Thanks Teresa! I need to check out his video- he had an older one about buttons I may need to rewatch! Someone I watch recently found TWO pools of light necklaces at a yard sale for $2 each, because yes they didn’t know what they had- so there’s still hope lol. I really appreciate you being here, thank you!
Awww, cute doggie!❤ The quartz necklace is awesome, as well as the button bracelet. I vote wear it! You are young, and your jewelry collection will grow. And, try not to compare yourself to others. You and the jewelry you showcase here are unique-a nice change from most. 😊
Thank you so much Pattie - looks like everyone says I need to wear it, lol! It can be difficult not to compare at times but I’ve noticed the older I get the less I care. Take care 🤗
Wait until you are 70-you really won't care. Lol. It is 'funny' how the world seems so different now, but it remains the same in some respects. Have a nice holiday, everyone.
@@carolmarin8208 Thank you Carol! Glad to know there’s other button lovers- I’ll have to share more of my collection soon. Thank you so much for watching ☺️
I love this video! The chat was just what I needed this morning. You have a beautiful heart, and you're a wise lady. I think a similar chat would be a great addition on a regular basis. ♡♡♡ I will be watching this one again and probably commenting each time. Have a great week, Hannah!
Aw Misty ♥️ Im so glad this resonated with you. It’s been awkward trying to film myself speaking but I really want to “connect” with everyone who takes the time to watch my videos and have a little chat. Several people have become like my friends here! Hopefully I will get better 😌 thanks for being so kind, I hope you have a great week as well!
Hello Hanna, Thanks for a wonderful video! I always enjoy watching your channel. I love buttons as much as I love jewelry! I personally would not wear or clean the button bracelet. Wearing the bracelet will more than likely cause the glass buttons to chip. Also, most antique buttons should not be cleaned with water or any other liquids. Many metal buttons have a layer of cardboard inside that can’t handle moisture. Also, steel will start to break down and rust when exposed to moisture. 👍🏼
@@adairpoole5770 Hi Adair! I really appreciate you being here and sharing such helpful info. I didn’t think about the cardboard in some buttons and the possibly of them rusting! I didn’t plan on wearing them as I don’t want to damage them. Thank you!
I love the caterpillars you made Hannah! They’re adorable! Everything you show is always beautiful and interesting. You’re right, it’s always good to be thankful for what we have. I often see things that other collectors and RU-vidrs have and think wow. The button bracelet was a wonderful find. I think I would feel more comfortable changing the chain and perhaps converting it into a necklace. Great video and I loved your special four legged guest.😊❤❤❤
@@VintageVariety hi Pam! I enjoy hearing from you and thank you for your sweet comments🥰 Everyone else said to wear the bracelet but I really want to take it apart 🤭 These buttons are really old and I don’t want to damage them- I’m a heavy wearer on bracelets. Thanks for your input!
@@Hannah-FleursDeMontagne me too Hannah, I am really hard on bracelets. I can’t tell you how many I’ve damaged or lost. As for collecting and the items you show, they are all wonderful! It’s always better to build a collection slowly because everyone’s taste changes over time. Keep doing what you do. Your videos are always appreciated and enjoyable.
@@VintageVariety I really appreciate that Pam! I have a small collection of items I really enjoy and cherish and yes it’s better to grow it slowly, I’m limited on space and only can only keep certain things. ☺️
Hannah…..this is one of my favorite videos of yours. Yes, of course I love seeing you at the beginning with your chat! The caterpillar bead things you created are so cute. The bird floral gold filled dainty necklace that you made is totally my style too. I also collect buttons but I am not actually sure how many of them are vintage or antique. Loved seeing your sweet dog at the end!
Hi Hannah! Great video. Sweet co-host! The bugs are so cute! I like the locket necklace; very dainty. And the dragons breath is beautiful. I love finding special things like that unexpectedly. I found a saphiret (sp?) ring at the thrift store and I couldn’t stop looking at it for a long time. It was something I hoped I would find one day, and I was so happy to get it. The ring was in terrible condition. I put it up for auction on RU-vid sort of hoping it wouldn’t sell, but an amazing woman scooped it up. The quartz necklace is so cute. I have some necklaces I need to re do, and I love those endcaps. You may find pools of light yet. I’ve found them twice, both for incredible prices because no one else knew what they were. I ended up selling them both. I’m hoping to find some again- fingers crossed! Amazing bracelet! I would wear it a couple of times before making any decisions. I’d temporarily add a safety chain while I was wearing it, just in case it decides to fall off over a concrete floor. It’s hard not to be a bit envious when seeing other people’s hauls and collections. I suppose it is like everything on social media, where people mainly show the good stuff going on in their lives. I hope that makes sense, LOL.
That’s amazing you’ve found the saphiret and pools of light pieces! I’ve heard of several people finding them for great prices now so I will keep the hope alive lol! I’m blessed to have found two saphiret pieces, and then once I knew about the glass realized I had some cabochons in my stash! I still need to make something with those. That is a great idea about the safety chain, I was definitely worried about hurting the buttons while wearing them- thanks! I totally get what you mean about only seeing the “good stuff” people show. It’s not realistic at all. I got a bunch of ugly stuff as well 😂 Thanks so much for watching Elizabeth!!
Great bracelet! I personally dont mind copper peeking through plating on some bracelets if its coming through gracefully. 24:01 You may have since watched the button video Jason Adams did a few days ago.
Hi Lee! Thanks for your input! I don’t mind some wear either and you wouldn’t see the chain a whole lot anyways. I did, and wow what a collection!! Thanks for watching :)
