That poor skidplate, I'm sure that little bug took a beating, props for building this from scratch and getting a podium, way harder than it sounds. Loved the series.

Dang son! looking at that wheel those balls are a game changer , at least four of those dings are bead breakers so that saved you four stops and if you didn't have four spare wheels it would have been race over, awesome job buddy, I really enjoyed the build series.

What shifter are you using? whats your thoughts on the empi super shifter, jamar pro-x and pro-am shifter? need to replace my shifter box due to a crack. trying to decide if its worth the work to go to these other types
Car looks ready to race the 1000. Great informative video. Like somebody else said, get rid of the urethane steering coupler. Unless Empi has improved them, they are notorious for failing. Maybe a Delrin one? Or stock is great too.
Should have put a hole in the skid plate for drain plug access.... you wouldn’t have to pull the engine to do oil changes 😁✌️. 2nd place it good! Congrats
I’d make more than one of the Engine cages and other things that are going to constantly be beat up and be replaced save you time next time/in the future. Sometime the Materials arent available but it would be cool if they were. I’m sure u got the money and supply🤙love the Channel in the content keep it up bro keep shredding!!!!!!🤘✌️
Which new EMPI Carburetor are you going to try on your motor? 9:30 I have a 1965 Baja with a 1641 dual port motor with Pertronix ignition inside a Bosch 009 distributor. For a carburetor I'm using a Brosol 30H31. I have it jetted from stock to let more fuel in, but I feel like I need something that will allow more air through to make any more power. I'm curious what you are going to run as it would probably work for my motor too. I can't remember if your distributor is using vacuum advance?
