I got a S1a in mint condition but it suffered from these exact problems. These videos allowed me to fix it. It works perfectly now...a really big thanks for posting these videos!!
Do you get the clicks of the different settings? The selection wheel might not be connected properly. I'm not very familiar with this part of the mechanism otherwise sorry to say.
@@RaggiBoy1 also when servicing cameras its important to use the highest alcohol spirit level you can get, some has the addition of water and is not something you want to add to the insides of your camera {high 90's is best}
