Hello! Exploring art exhibits for ASMR sounds and textures. These interesting pieces were sent to me by two London based artists Justine Melford-Colegate and Anna Reading. Links to their websites are below. I was intrigued to play with these items in a video after seeing pictures and hearing the story behind some of them. I do hope you like the results! My absolute favourite was the rubbery sounds of the silicone :-D

Over 5 years later and this is still one of my favorite ASMR videos. It is one that will always live in my playlist. I come back to this video every few months because it’s so unique and special. Thank you Emma for helping me through countless sleepless nights

So I googled the phobia thing.... I will never ever forget what a lotus pod looks like or what it looks like photoshopped on to someone's tongue. On the plus side, nothing in this video triggered the kind of horrid that Google did!! Thanks for another great video Emma!

Been having a bit of an ASMR dry spell, but this was lovely! What I love about your videos is you are honestly enjoying the feelings and sounds, while with some artists I get the feeling they are just going through the motions. The silicon reminded me of something my cousin would do when we were kids. I lived at a lake home and my cousin would visit me for a week in the summer. We would spend all day in our swim suits, and I would get so sunburned the skin on my back would peel.My cousin loved to slowly peel the skin off my back with her fingers, which would give me tingles! lol :) Anyway thanks, Emma, you are a treasure :)

dolliecake Maybe they look fake because they are Gels? My mom painted my nails with Gels and they came out just as perfectly. :) (Not to mention that Gel polish sounds super good for an ASMR video!)

As soon as you said, "I'm a picky person." regarding the silicone. I instantly understood what you meant. I even brush PVA glue on my hands and wait for it to dry just so i can pick it off. It's satisfies my need to pick :D Great video lovely lady!

You definitely have the most relaxing videos on RU-vid, missy. I discovered your videos when looking for childhood ASMR triggers. For me, I think it's a combination of finding the majority of British accents quite calming (I'm an Aussie gal so I find my own Australian accent pretty grating even though I'm fairly soft-spoken) and the fact that you have a somewhat classic, olde-worlde (in the best possible sense of the term... I just can't think of a better way to describe it!) look about you. I hope you take that as a compliment because it definitely is! You would look very much at home in any BBC period piece! Ever done any acting? That leads me into my request. You've no doubt guessed that I'm a period drama fan. A good ol' BBC period drama relaxes me like no other viewing can. It's on a similar level of wonderful escapism as ASMR. I know it's not just me either! So I wonder... this would be the perfect platform to combine the two!... and you certainly have the right look and voice for it. I think if anyone can corner the market on Georgian, Victorian and Edwardian ASMR videos, it's you! I truly can't think of a more calming combination. It's certainly a genre with endless scenarios and possibilities. I'm surprised there's not a plethora of these kind of old-fashioned ASMR videos out there already, since the "olden days" are a major form of relaxation/escape for many people. Thanks & bless ya!

irma gerd Thanks! I know there are so many people who have this response to the "old-fashioned" atmosphere... I really hope she can re-create this in an ASMR form for all of us period drama lovers to enjoy. If done properly, this genre of ASMR would be epic! * crosses fingers more ASMRtists get onto it *

I didn't know that the mirror touch was a thing itself - I've always had that too and just thought it was a part of ASMR as well. Learn something new everyday! I loved all the sounds, but the fabric that the art was wrapped in was definitely my favorite sound. It made me tingle the most.

This video made me nod off repeatedly which doesn't happen often for me. It was amazing. All these sounds and visuals are just tingly and wonderful and relaxing. This video makes me miss taking art classes in college. I could see how the 'honeycomb' sculpture was built with a bunch of small pinch pots stuck together, I just wish I knew the process for getting them arched so nicely and so evenly coated in glaze!

I really enjoyed this show and tell video. WhispersRed truly is amazing. My favourite piece was the pottery piece, I think the under neath of it looked liked giant marshmallows stuck together.

Jill Kelley look it up lol. It's a fear of clusters of holes ... It's kind of hard to explain. Things like a bees honeycomb freak me out all those little holes together, it can be really random with me, I feel my skin crawl at something random like a load of bubbles together or something haha its horrid, Google has pictures of the type of the phobia and what it means

I love the silicon sheet! It would be nice once the 15 min. ban is lifted to draw the tingles of this sound out for as long as possible! Shaving cream against the silicon sheet, a wet balloon and the sheet pressed together..it's similar to the leather jacket crinkles!

Ive never heard of Tryophobia, but when I saw the big hullabaloo about it on Emmas fb, I avoided looking it up because it seemed that everyone commenting had it and if it's so prolific I must too. So I didn't look it up, but i did watch this video. Still having no idea what it was, I passed through the honeycomb scene completely unfazed and had to read the comments to learn that it was the notorious item putting this video on the dont-watch list. I thought it was a funky cute object and would make a great abstract organizing caddie for tiny things :)

I used to pick the wallpaper off the wall when I was little too. I remember as a young child my parents would put me to bed saying "Night night, god bless, no pigling, no coal mining". Pigling is a local word for picking and the coal mining bit was because when I was even littler I used to get turned upside down in my sleep and panic when I woke up at the bottom
