Honestly I personally think the sly series should have ended on sly 3, the ending put nice bow on the series and all 4 gave us was a cliff hanger that never got resolved
There was going to be a Sly 5, but Sly 4 didn't sell as well as it's predecessors. So the studio behind Sly 4 moved on. I'm glad Sly 4 was made. If Ratchet and Clank can keep making games, so should Sly ^^ As well as Jak and Daxter
4 was meant a trilogy. Just didn't catch on, recycled story. My head cannon will be 3 is the end or just a different version of 4. Hate time travel as part of a story

They really should make a series of Sly Cooper, I been wait about for....YEARS honestly this would make an amazing series 🎉. Probably make everyone change their minds of Sly 4 ( In my opinion I really do love Sly 4 there is some minor issues however I really do like Sly 4.)
This reminds me of One Piece. The characters becoming allies to defeat the main antagonist from each chapter then joining the crew in the epilogue to find the One Piece.
