That's cool , now your next step is to go to Australia, Holland , China and finally wherever the pirate island is and play their respectful soundtracks and let's not forget sly 2 and 1 🤪
I remember getting sly 2 as a gift from a cousin. After playing through the whole sly series, (2 then 3 then 1) I have to say it was probably one of the best gifts to get as a kid. Fantastic games.
It's *especially* stuck for me, because I played the *CRAP* outta this level as a kid. Thing is, I *sucked* at games as a kid, and I was very easily amused, so I would end up playing the first few levels of a game over and over. Long story short, I got *very* acquainted with Venice's layout XD
I never owned this game as a kid nor did I ever complete it until much later but I rented it from Hollywood Video whenever I could. This was probably the very first time I ever experienced an “open world” type of structure in a video game and it absolutely blew my mind. So much nostalgia and memories were made during this stage in particular as it’s the one I remember the most fondly. God bless Sucker Punch for creating such a masterpiece.
"Ah, am I glad you're here. Mama's making spaghetti tonight and I'm starving! I'm gonna eat like thre--NO, four plates full." "Guess you really like her cooking?" "Mama-Mia! I wanna be BURIED in her sauce! Its heaven!" "Any problems with that guy?" "Say he wanted to be buried in his mom's pasta sauce." "Yeah...that's uh....that's strange."
damn.. the nostalgia is real, I remember playing this with my best friend. I would give anything just to start over again, to feel these moments at least one more time. miss you old friend
I played it when I was 5 years old or so but one day the console broke down, it still worked but you had to struggle to play it and one day my parents decided to sell it along with the games🥺😔
I know everyone here says the soundtrack for this map is the best but an opera of fear is also the most visually pleasing map. Very relaxing to play in.
Personally, my list of my favorite Sly games would be: 4: Sly 1 3: Sly 4 2: Sly 2 1: Sly 3 But even so, I still love all of them with all my heart.....ah.....the joys of Sly Cooper...... *falls over gushing*
You just gotta love how the Sly series brought in so much realism from the real world and it's crimes through the various bosses and levels : Sly 1 : Sir Raleigh : Storm Machine Mugshot : Illegal Gambling Mz. Ruby : Voodoo Arts Panda King : Firework Terrorism Clockwerk : Well, just wants to end a family line of thieves Sly 2 : (where it gets really serious) Dimitri : Counterfeit Cash Rajan : Illegal drug production Contessa : Hypnotic Manipulation Jean Bison : Illegal drug trade Arpeggio : Cheating death = immortality Then Sly 3 : (a little more aggressive) Octavio : Water Pollution / Terrorism Outback Miners : Mining/ruining the environment Black Baron : Illegal dogfights Gen. Tsao : Forcing a marriage someone doesn't want and enslaving someone (that's the worst one) LeFwee : Just very greedy tbh Dr. M : Wants the riches of the Cooper Gang Sly 4 : To put it straightforward They're just helping erase an entire line of thieves through stealing their canes and putting them off as Le Paradox's But all in all there will never be anymore betrer games like this back in the day
I never regret returning to this game every once in awhile. It’s an absolute gem that defines every reason why I fell in love with this series to begin with!
I'll never forget I was playing ratchet & clank 3 and I discovered the sly 2 demo hidden in ratchet & clank 3 in fourth grade and ever since then I've been a big fan of Sly Cooper
so much nostalgia. i loved playing sly 3 especially in Venice sneaking up to guards and stealing their money and then knocking them into the air and killing them. It was so fun
