I think it's more like different department heads. Talking controls the Deathstar and the Navy, I don't think vader would try to argue with that. They've known each other a long time. But when it comes to Sith work, of course vader is Palatines right hand.

@@mattmanix5104 Vader isn't really Palpatine's right hand. Palpatine is strong enough he doesn't need one, Vader is more like his dog, but not for protection because he needs it but rather because he would prefer not to get his hands dirty usually. Palpatine also loved the idea of his apprentice being the Jedi chosen one, a last insult to the jedi, like using lightsabers was a way he insulted them

@@abdullahbajrami6816 Maybe but that would just go to show a lot more how they don't care about source material. After Vader lost his duel with Obi-Wan I believe the confirmed power he lost was 30% but I may remember it wrong though it was a significant portion of his power, so to make him more strong just because he's Vader seems like a very Disney thing to do. And of course that isn't to say he wasn't strong, but what I love about the Legends is it shows how he had to use intelligence and tactics more at times because of his lack of power, and he still showed off power more like with how often he forced chocked people for a mix of reasons like him feeling excruciating pain every time he lifted his arms above his waist and just his likely anger at losing power I assume made him want to show more that he was strong still. So much of the Legends is just amazing and the vast majority respects the source material which is ridiculous considering how many authors and stories there are!

@@eldenvedetta635 idk man I like how sly vader is in canon. That whole twist where he makes slymoore put effort on a lost cause... It's really interesting. He's confident because he's always a step ahead. He's not just powerful. I have mixed feeling about disney's stuffs but I feel like they still tried to give Vader's character the respect he deserves. I liked his cameo in the recent movies. Where he turns off his breather (to turn off the light built in his suit) just so he can give his enemies a dramatic surprise attack. So far, Vader's presence is still one of the few things disney hasn't yet ruined. (canon, legends, etc.) authors/writers know how iconic vader is so I think they try to treat his character's appearance with a sort of reverence

That's because Disney comics don't care about source material. They do more than the Disney films but Legends comics will always be true Star Wars as opposed to this.

Did you read the previous comic releases? Didn't vader already soften a bit after seeing the medical bot's recording of padme and obiwan's convo about anakin before padme died? We don't need luke to feel anything about vader yet.. Luke can try as hard as he can to strike vader the next time they meet. But honestly, Luke wont ever get the upper hand. We only need vader to not have killing intent for Luke and the comics already established that Vader wont

@@chew7656 yes I’ve read all of the Vader comics Disney has put out. But the conflict Vader felt about learning the truth about Padme is gone now. The Emperor saw all of the conflict in Vader which is why he put him through all that he did, by the end of his time on Exegol Vader was no longer conflicted and is now serving the Emperor 100%. Vader isn’t even interested about turning Luke to the Dark Side anymore, he knows that the Emperor would like to replace him with Luke. Vader intends to kill Luke to keep his position secure. That is not Vader’s mindset in Ep.6 at all. There has to be a reason for Vader’s conflict to emerge again after everything the Emperor put him through in the past arc, just like there was a reason for why Vader grew conflicted enough to lead him to where he saw the recording of Padme. I’m just saying that even though Vader and Luke will have no other interest but to kill each other if they happen to meet in this new arc something has to happen to get Vader and Luke to change into the people they were in Ep.6. And I just feel that there has to be something that happens in the future to get Luke to believe in the good that is left in his father that convinces him to try to save him and not want to kill him after the truth gets confirmed to him later by Yoda. I know Luke finds out that Vader is his father and later Yoda proves it, but that alone really only means that he’s genetically related to him compared to everything else he has experienced from him (killing his friend/mentor, trying to kill him and his friends, torturing his friends, putting Han in carbonite, cutting his hand off…) it doesn’t make sense as to why Luke was so determined to save Vader and believed there was good in him instead of just killing him like Yoda and Obi-Wan told him. Luke says he can sense the good in him but this was before he even was near Vader again on Endor, he said there was still good in him when he spoke to Obi-Wan. Did he sense it during Ep.5? Because it didn’t seem like it, even with the comics it seems like Luke is indifferent/against Vader at the moment.

Allegedly Vader was as slow and sloppy as what was shown on screen. The real question is how could he ever defeat a competent opponent without plot armor?

Agreed. It was pretty clear in ESB where Boba was going with Han. But then again, since when has Disney cared for continuity?

In the previous comics it already showed that Han was stolen from Boba by Crimson Dawn. My guess is that the end of this storyline will see him be the one to get him back and deliver to Jaba

I don't think Universal would have done it justice either. Have you seen Star Wars SC 38 Reimagined? I wish the creators of THAT honestly got to own Star Wars. I could even see them doing better or at least AS good as George Lucas, because they cared about George Lucas's source material, unlike Disney, and I believe unlike Universal would.
