Doing something now is better then doing nothing at all, SM failed at protecting Seunghan the artist and as a person, He should be reinstated and giving mental health support.

@@seoulcrush they always act like international fans are unimportant. Some SM worker also stated that Korean fans are the one who spends more so they should be on their side. Most companies want attention and fame from international fans but when it comes to what they want or think they just dont want to know. Even after horrible funeral flower incident instead of suing them just kicked Seunghan yet now they act like they are doing something while doing nothing. they what calm us down and just shut m us up so they continuo doing whatever they are doing.
SM should have supported him from the moment the first post dropped, sued the posters, let him go on hiatus for a month or two, and then let him return. SM doesn't give a rat's about it's artists - if they did, we'd still have our lost favourites with us today. SM is only about money, power, and saving face. What gets to me is the hypocrisy. DO was found smoking indoors, breaking Korean law. Baekhyun was seen with a vape. And fans protested, demanding Chen be removed from EXO due to his pending marriage and daughter's birth. And I remember reading about an alleged competition between certain EXO members, to see who could bring the most girls back to their dorm, and that was after their debut. Apart from DO copping a fine, nothing else was done - fans and haters were ignored by SM. These toxic 'fans' have not only affected Seunghan, and vilified him for doing what virtually every other teen does... BEFORE his debut, they've potentially ruined the mental health and possibly the careers of the other members of RIIZE, after all, they wanted him back. Fans had the gall to call out RIIZE for choosing friendship over them, yet it seems fairly obvious that there is a very good chance it was one of Seunghan's friends, who uploaded the pictures, etc., and did so for nefarious reasons. Also, it was reported that allegedly, none of SM's staff wanted Seunghan to return either. What sort of company allows their staff to act this way? Where is their loyalty? I have not followed RIIZE - I'm ARMYSTAY, but I totally support Seunghan and RIIZE. I can guarantee that almost every idol has indulged in underage drinking and/or smoking pre-debut, even if only once, and I believe that a majority of them would also have had a girlfriend or boyfriend... and I bet that everyone of those toxic fans will have done so too. If they can prove that they have never, ever, in their whole lives, made a single mistake, then they can be the first to criticise him. SM definitely needs to understand that their selective and unfair treatment of their artists is unacceptable, and these delusional fans need to understand that they don't own their idols, nor do they have the right to dictate what they can and can't do. This situation has nothing to do with culture, and everything to do with basic human rights... and what these fans are doing is tantamount to stalking. I just don't understand the fan mentality, when certain celebrities are vilified and hounded out of the entertainment industry, or bullied into deleting themselves, yet others are glorified and can do no wrong, even when they've committed the most heinous acts, and admitted their guilt, because delusional fans just will not believe that they've done anything wrong. Even in the case of Tae'il... there has been no confirmation of anything, yet people are calling for his life imprisonment, yet fans were up in arms at the unfair treatment of the Burning Sun perpetrators, (who have all served their ridiculously inadequate sentences, and have already been released), saying they did not do anything wrong!. I'm not saying that Tae'il's unproven yet allegedly heinous crimes don't warrant a long prison term if he's prosecuted and found guilty, just that the BS perpetrators should have received equally harsh sentences. It's all just so two-faced.
SM artists in particular, but all K-pop artists need an independent body they can access when issues like these come up. An independent body that doesn't give a damn about the companies' bottom line, with the authority to make the companies do better by their artists. A group that can push for better protection against targeted defamation (like Lucas & Seunghan needed). Better crowd protection (like WayV needs). Contract issues (like TVXQ, FiftyFifty). Bullying (like NewJeans). Companies won't give a damn until it affects their immediate profits. Artists need more.
You are talking about a union. That's what they need. Something like the Screen Actors Guild which a year or so ago went on strike to protect their rights.
Stop calling them fans, those are haters…and sending funeral wreaths should be reserved for funeral not for minors incidents of an idol, and also an idol should not be cancelled, being put out of his group and company just because of a minor incident but for major crimes only. I am an Army, 💜we fight back at haters with all the love and support we have to block and push back haters effects and show that we count more than those haters💜 hope every fandom do the same, we unite when needed and be stronger then haters. SM got multiple strikes on them 3 strikes they’re out Like what’s was with all of the waiting for his return but them to have him bullied out of his team which he rightly got his spot to now all of a sudden take legal action when was this legal action when he was in his hiatus and for his return like SM y’all are losing a fight with fans who did wanted him back and now they have caused a war now
