Very fast installation. My question is: It's possible to use a transformer LV-LV, connected between the grid and the SMA Core 1, in countries where the commercial voltage is different from U.S or E.U?
Yes, it is possible under certain conditions. Keep in mind that the inverter outputs 480/277V at a frequency of either 50Hz or 60Hz, and transformers can alter voltage but not frequency. You will want to confirm with SMA directly that the commercial voltage and frequency of your country will be within the capabilities of the inverter-transformer pairing.
Would the Core 1 also work with an AC wind generator that had been rectified to DC? Also, the purpose of the TS4-R-F rapid shutdown module would also work in this situation, disconnecting the generator’s output power from the lines between the generator and the Core 1 inverter, correct? Finally, the Core 1 also includes an AC disconnect switch that initiates the rapid shutdown of the power generating system, yes?

The SMA Core1 features two RJ45 ethernet cable ports on its communications board to allow for daisy chaining. Multiple inverter communications boards can be daisy chained (A to B) using the second port. The cables between the inverters can be up to 100m in length. The inverters may require the same password to be used between them. For additional help, call the SMA tech support line, and they can help you out with the configuration. The SMA Core1 product is only designed to take input from solar DC sources. If you wish to run an AC Diesel Generator in parallel, that shouldn't be an issue, but it would be connected to the AC system, and not directly to the SMA inverter. Check with an Electrical Engineer who is experienced with Generator and PV systems running in parallel on 3 phase systems to be sure.
