Facts.. and when you can come back to a battle after this many years and still enjoy it.. shows how classic it was. CHILLA V MAGIC/ CHILLA V DAYLYT/ MAGIC VS CON/ JJDD VS HITMAN/ HITMAN VS SURF/ HITMAN VS VERB/ just to name battles Im able to go back and watch
+holm81 when real deal said that line he meant that B magic with try to save face by telling his people he lost to a light skinned black person because losing to a white person would be viewed as more pathetic.
duke12bulls Naw, Magic got Bodied bro. Real Deal had ALL the Memorable/Biggest Moments, More Haymakers, More Structure, Less Dry Spots, More Crowd Control. Magic's Defense wasn't even on point like usual and reacted more in this battle than his entire career combined.
Facts.. and the fact that years later I can still play this battle back shows how classic it was. I go back to a few battles from back then.. JJdD vs hitman.. chilla vs daylyt...to name a few..
Real Deals last bar was the coldest...."...Ok so what happens when the Black dude goes up against the White dude & the White wins?/ Aiiiight Den! BETTER GO HOME & TELL UM IM LIGHT SKINNED"
Real Deal is probably the most underrated battle rapper out there. Not saying he's unheard of, he's been around a while. Just saying people do not usually mention his name with other top tier rappers often. He is, and deserves credit. He works hard for every opponent.
Sean Kearns lul pat stay, if he ever leaves canada he will get bodied...in canada he is like the pope. fkn untouchable! btw this battle was 2 years ago...bmagic is alot more rediculous now.
B magic my favorite battle artist, but I think real deal won hands down. His set ups where crazy and out of all the b magic battles I've seen! I've never seen b magic get so frustrated and uncomfortable when his opponent spits.. If you look at b magics body language you can tell that he! Even knew he was losing
Even years later, still a 🔥 battle. Real Deal 1st & 3rd rounds had awesome setups, hard hitting punches, and excellent crowd control. BMagic was BMagic but even he realized RealDeal came prepared. Mad respect for this TRUE classic.
+David Im my favorite line was "I got a safe box I could deposit you in, now I don't know what the fuck he thought/ that's why they call him magic, always shovin someone in his box."
for those of yall who dont know or are wondering, when Smack cut Real Deal off and said "TIME" at the end, the last line Real Deal was guna spit was "you better go home and tell em I'm light-skinned!"
This was the best battle of all time.. u had 2 different opposites with 2 different styles, a punch line rapper vs a set up rapper and they both brought there A game and they both killed it.. to me they both won their was no clear cut winner I guess it all depends on what style you prefer.
I agree with everything you said after the first sentence haha. This is the second best battle after JC vs Chilla.. which was punches vs schemes. Just my opinion. Everything you said after the first line perfectly describes both battles.
ieoheoirh cehøiojero nah man lol honestly im a fan of both but b-magics bars were kinda corny thins one "i aint doing real good like a struggler" it makes sense but thats pretty basic and i could choose more and more if you really want me too but its not worth it to quote tonnes of content lol b-magic dope but i didnt think he did too good this one at all and real deal came like he usually does so real deal deff took this tbh
Well it depends what you look at as bars i mean he didnt have alotta schemes ya but real still had enough punchlines for me to edge it to him not hating just saying i think he took real , real light (bars!) and took the l for it
Real Deal got this 2-1. I prefer B Magic's still to be honest but Real Deal proved his experience. I believe this battle made B Magic better but Real Deal made him look one-dimensional though many of B Magic's bars were CRAAZY. Now you see why people duck Real Deal. He reminds me of Swave Sevah because you need more than bars to beat him. Look at Swave vs Young Kannon, its a prime example. Kannon had bar after bar, then Swave just clowned him. But then again it depends what you like, Classic battle nonetheless.
yo clownin me for that teacher shit, was not smart today. i"ll put it in Magic terms, i didn't wanna face my "dream" with a Shaq (shack) so i decided to stack Penny's (pennies) the Hardaway (harder way) dont sleep on real deal's bars
A kite is a mail/letter that gets passed around behind jail cells. The message is usually written in code to avoid deciphering. They use thread connected to paper then fish it from cell to cell, pod to pod.It is usually done when they are behind bars at lockup time. So hence, get the message behind these bars like I blew you a kite. Double entendre.
this was a great battle. i never even heard of real deal before this but he might be the first white battle rapper i actually like. they both went ham on this. classic.
412RealDeal is the Eminem of modern day battle rap. I would put Real Deal against anybody in battle rap from any league and they will have a problem. I would like to see more of you on the URL against Clips Conceited Tsu Surf Lux or Mook. Definitely Top Tier and definitely Top 5... Salute to your hard work...
Holy shit I have never seen smack throw the towel in to save somebody before. I've never seen smack call time in the middle of someone's bars. Smack may have saved B magic's career by calling time.
Winning is about diversity....Magic had dope punchlines. But Real had better crowd control, good wordplay/namefilps/punchlines, and perfect delivery/presence. Real won, no doubt. They both wee good...CLASSIC battle 4 sur, but Real clearly won.
anyone notice that magic is really in tune when real deal is going thru his rounds you can tell he had mad respect for real midway through the first round top 3 classic battle for any league hands down so many quoteables both top tier battlers I may be a lil biased being from Pittsburgh and actually know Trevor on a personal level but they both brought thier A Game.. this was huge for battle rap
Real deal would tear charron apart lol... Real deal goes so hard with the personals and charron is a great battler but if you watch, it looks like he takes personal lines to heart... It would be a good battle though
soul see Genius idea! I'd pay to watch either of those... I'm actually going to see the Shotty Horroh vs Arsonal rematch and Calicoe vs Pat Stay! It's the first show that is near where I live.
After revisiting this battle 4 the 1st time in a while I can c now how evenly matched Deal an' Magic both were... The deciding factor in this battle comes down to the craft and flow of the bars: Magic's bars had a nice, smooth, consistent flow his problem is he lacked substance as far as coming up with material that specifically applied to Deal; sure, he had a few well thought of and executed punch lines but that was due to the word play and double meaning of them... Real had a strong, consistent flow that only intensified as he gained momentum which only helped the overall impact and delivery of his bars... His bars themselves were overall much harder than Magic's: his setups and schemes were setup properly enough to get the punch off with impact which is why the heavier bars that applied specifically to Magic were haymakers... Real had quotables throughout all three rounds, Magic's hardest round had 2 be his 1st
b magic brings out the best in all his competitors. This is a classic battle. I am a b magic fan who can appreciate competition. I got magic 2-1 but i am bias and can admit it. I have never seen magic this aggressive in any other battle. Real deal came with everything you would want when facing a barsmen. (he had bars, rebuttals, jokes, and he controlled the crowd well). Every magic battle is a classic (qp battle, chilla jones battle, tay roc battle, jon jon battle, real deal battle, etc.)
