I FINALLY was able to do a good and convincing piro flip on my kraken 700 last weekend. About 10 feet off the ground. Did it for about 5 to 10 seconds. I wasn't even thinking about it, my brain and my thumbs were just in perfect sync and doing it. Surprised the hell out of me and some friends of mine. Took YEARS of practice. Felt like I hit a major milestone. :-)
This is a great video and clearly explained! Learned to fly in all orientations upright and inverted then moved to learning figure 8 piros CW and CCW upright and inverted, not much stationary piros like he explained...probably why I struggle a little keeping piro flips stationary. Then I was able to do pretty sloppy stationary piro flips CW and CCW. Travelling piro flips were a bit easier probably because of the figure 8 practice. Hoping to get them a bit tighter this flying season. I would like to learn how to do a proper chaos both directions eventually.
How did you learn to fly upside down all orientations? I know how to fly right side up all orientations and want to take that next step. Did you use a sim or wing it on your helicopter? I'm going to buy neXt sim and start flying upside down all orientations. My ultimate goal is to do some of these cool 3D maneuvers but I have to learn all of the fundamentals first
@@LichaelMewisthe cheapest way I know is to use SIM. Then do regular practice on it (10-20 mins per day or per sessions depending on your available time). You should see noticeable improvements after 3 weeks or so.
Thank you for showing fly 3d.i have a 3d heli 4pcs can not flying yet 3d five years ready want to ask 3d. swift is when start on start flying time on or go up only on or pleas answer to me thank you very much Mr.
I want to know how many helis these pros have smashed before they got this good. I can do sloppy piropflips, but I've smashed a Trex 550 DFC, one Blade 300x, Four mPCXs, three nanos, and three goblin 500s in the process. I recently purchased Real Flight and AccuRC and refuse to physically touch a heli until I'm 100% confident. Unfortunately, it's so much harder when you're flying the real thing. Nerves always get me, especially when people are watching. You almost have to not care about smashing $2k.
I've gone through my share of bl2 and still can't do one .I need a sim or something ..,it seems I'm closer to doing one on my m2 than anything else but I've had to save it many times...I'm not crashing my m2 and 1 ..lol ..
Like Bert says , go slow….they’ve been flying for YEARS , and have been through a lot of parts I’m sure . This dude owns a servo company, so they’re in “ the business”. Keep at it .
Get an OMP M2 or similar, hit throttle hold before crashing, damage is minimal, repairs are easy and inexpensive. Builds confidence. Practice new moves in the sim then try it with small heli.
So freaking hard man,,I can't fly invert tail in for some dumb reason but I can fly tail out inverted just like I was right side up..but I'm stuck here ,,need a sim bad ,but I think I e done good without one ..
