hi friend! i've been settling into the office life lately, is this what 9-5 life is like? i wanted to decorate my place to make it feel more homey; the goal is to be excited to come in everyday so i don't mind investing in that as long as i get return hehe~
i'm also back to cooking the full deal, so this vlog is about 50% food... which is nothing new here.

I really needed the calming and positive vibes of your videos! After the day I had I just wanna say: to anyone who's ever been a victim of bullying / hate / violence because of their appearance, gender, orientation, race : DO NOT ever let a hateful notion 'there's something wrong with me' sink in. Trust me, it's a recipe for self hatred and compulsive anxieties later on. When we suffer and we need a break, it's only natural to think: maybe if I wasn't 'different', if I was 'normal' I would be accepted. No, haters will always find something else to prey upon. I've always had androgynous look, which was a fuel for bullies when I was growing up. I embraced it, used it to my advantage in my acting / modeling career, I was almost the face of Leon in these new Resident Evil games :)

If you think the overhead lamp is too much you can cover them with white paper! It definitely reduces the harshness :> so proud of you and congrats for your new decorated office!

I'm so glad you got an assistant to help you out. :) live ur anime evenings life queen I've also been rediscovering apples lately! I ordered honeycrisp apples in an online grocery order thinking they were the size of regular apples and NO!! They're almost the size of a pie pumpkin! Aghh a new video. I've only been in the annikaverse for about 2 weeks now. But your videos are really fun to watch. They're relaxing, but not so much that they get boring. For the windows, you could get the peel and stick window covers for the lower half. That way, the top half will be open, and the bottom half you won't feel as if people are staring at you. They come in all kids of patters and colors.

The eggs cracking is due to temperature shock, you should let them get to room temperature for a good 10 to 15 minutes before putting them into boiling water, straight up form the fridge they'll always crack!

Love that hair oil! Typically when I apply, I like to rub a small amount in my hands so it can warm it up and distribute the product more evenly! :3

Quick tip about stubborn stickers. Hand sanitizer. Put sone on that sticker, let it sit for a min, should come up alot alot easier! Source: Co-workers putting work stickers on the windshield of my hy rise forklift in a warehouse. Hand sanitizer and 5 mins equals a clear windshield without the gunk!

I use them because they're less expensive, but bulk eggs are from chickens that don't have the nutrition to have thick shells. That's why they crack more easily.

Hey Annika :) just saying with the boiled eggs, they probably crack because of the dramatic temperature difference, try putting them in cold water then boiling it after they’re in the pan :) hope this helps

Not sure if you will see this or if no one has said that but... eggs crack more easily if you put them in when the water is boiling. Eggs should be placed in cold water and then on the stove to boil whilst the eggs are already inside. It takes longer to cook sure but they will not crack :)

my mom puts the eggs in the pot, fills it with water, and then puts it on the stove to boil. idk how it affects the eggs or if you're making different things (idk crap about eggs LMAO), but maybe itd help with your eggs cracking? the temperature shock might be making them more susceptible to cracking

for the egg problem.. you need to poke your egg. There is an air-bubble inside and if you put the egg in hot water the air expands an the shell cracks. In my country we have a tool for that called Eistecher (german). I hope you find something like this in America. :)
