I hadn't seen your C9 finished until now. It looks great, as do all the other cars there. It's cool seeing a big group of other peoples cars all laid out like that.
Really nice video and commentary! I went to a show last Sunday in Chatsworth, California. Looks like a miniature version of Hot August Nights in Reno, Nevada! Agree, 💯 , go and enjoy yourself and don't worry about judging . Thank you for the encouragement for all of us who build models.😎
@@BillyStrangeAutoModelsIt's worth going to. It's a yearly event, with the Chevy car show on the Campus of a school. It's the first Sunday in May. Then go check out Smith Brothers Hobby Center, in Northridge, Ca. They have lots of vintage kits on consignment. I have been going there since 1976. Went there today.
Exactly I did a video saying the same thing I'm a novice builder After 50 yrs or so I finally entered a contest Couldn't believe they liked my stuff that much
I went to Autorama. I usually check out the model cars, but my buddy that was supposed to meet me there showed two hours late. I'm going to the Silverwings show as well this Saturday with my modeling club. Hope to see you there!
Thanks! I'm gonna try to travel to some later in the year as things line up. We are pretty lucky to have at least two in the Sacramento area plus two clubs. I think a SoCal show is in my future within the next year and possibly a Central Valley show too.
@@BillyStrangeAutoModels very cool! I may have to get the information on some of the shows in the Central Valley and Sac Area. We will probably go to Santa Maria end of this month and maybe So Cal later this year.
@@BillyStrangeAutoModelsAnything in Redding, California? I live in Southern California, West San Fernando Valley. Have family in Redding, Ca. If you ever visit Southern California go to Smith Brothers Hobbies in Northridge, Ca. Or Burbank's House of Hobbies!
