I knoww....at this point I'd be happy with like 20 views, you know....I'm not looking to go viral or be some Mr Beast. I just want to contribute to niche of RU-vid goofery that I'm into
For any small RU-vidr not yet monetized and not yet to 1000 subscribers yet like me who is watching here, dont give up keep pushing its evident from here that it will get better with consistency. Lets keep going there is light at the end of the tunnel.
Daily videos are a good way to burn yourself out (what I'm doing right now), but it is valuable in the experience you gather. My earliest vids I was stuttering all over the place, couldn't keep thoughts straight while playing games. 2 months in, I sound far more confident and my Mechwarrior 5 content is regularly getting 100+ views on my tiny little 57 sub channel. Keep plugging, keep getting better, and let us watch our channels flourish!
If I would to start again on YT, I just wouldn't waste months to get recognized by couple hundred people. When I discovered I could trigger organic growth after getting first 1k subs using Fames Ter my life just got easier and my main channel exploded. People are just looking at the numbers when searching for some content. If you have low subs no one cares about you even if you have best content on platform.
I definitely noticed this! People are more likelu to subscribe if you already have a decent following. Which actually sucked when i started out. It really just sucks for small creators ngl
That’s is true actually. I have a decent sonic video. And I spent the whole day trying to get ideas and making the thumbnail and editing just to get 9 views 😔
@trashy.cat_. Yeah its frustrating, but guess views and subscribers are a measure people use to rate the validity of a channel, not realizing all channels were all small once. Funny enough I think differently when consuming content after understanding the creation process. We all work hard. Don't give up!
I have lost my parents few days ago and I have nothing, so I am living in rent my landlord always yells at me for money, so I am making videos in RU-vid with my laptop.
Thank you guys for always dropping new ways to keep pushing on this platform! Small fitness channel here just trying to really get a hang of this youtube content thing! Much love appreciate ya’ll & anyone thats reading this keep pushing! 💪🏼
I just have to say thank you for your tips and how you structure your videos. My channel is not new but I've recently rebranded it and I'm trying to grow more. Other videos I've watched on similar topics don't get to the point, they just keep you hanging on to get you to finish the video. Very frustrating. Yours are effective yet not drawn out and I really appreciate that!
Thank you for the tip! Need to start doing shorts asap. Currently have two videos out now and both have done so well despite being a new RU-vidr! Thank ya guys for what you do and so excited for my journey!
As someone who does content on the subject of meditation from the perspective of being a former Buddhist monk. I can say that the shorts space is so undersaturated and there's almost nothing there. I think it has to do with the subject itself not being fit for shorts, but recently I've tried making some shorts and I kind of enjoy it. Hopefully I'll find a way of making shorts a part of my content strategy since I do enjoy the idea and think it could be great for spreading information in an easily accessible way.
I'm just starting this youtube thing, and starting shorts is still very taunting. But one thing that really is really facinating about shorts is the fact that the videos are shorted and way easier and less time consuming to edit :D
Thanks Nolan, I've never really noticed the remix option. I normally download the videos I want to reuse and edit on my phone as per usual. Using the shorts route will definitely get more eyeballs on your channel. My normal long-form videos get low views, in comparison, though increasing slowly but I just posted a reworked short of a long-form video I posted last year and it got 840 views in one day! Definitely going to do this for all relevant videos I have on my channel. I recommend everyone remix videos because you've already done the work, just get the best bits and repost it. Good luck!
I started using remix a few days ago and noticed an increase in long form video views and a few new subs. Definitely worth it. I put the link to the video in a pinned comment as he said in the video as well
@FMFan if you have it then you’ll see it when you click on one of your videos like you’re about to watch it and it will be under the video. It’s only on mobile I believe. I have a second channel but no remix option on some videos and the rest only gives me remix option for sound. So, idk how they decide who gets it or if it’ll be available for all types of channels or not.
Hey Think Media guys! A little stuck on number 4. Of course, I know about playlists, but how do we get the clickable blue text with the playlist listed above the title of our video like you referenced at 4:21 ?
Hi, just wanted to say thank you so much for all the info you guys provide! Your channel has helped me go from 0 to 10,000 subs in only 2 months. Just noticed I never subscribed ( so embarrassing), so I just did now.
I am a new youtuber. I have been making videos for one year. It's been a slow growth. But I have been using playlists and thr community posts more. Got 3 new subscribers from one post, so it is definitely worth giving it a try to see how best an audience can engage with what I put out. Love the tips. ❤️
Consistency is key. Don’t be like me I was growing a following for a while and stopped for a year and now I’m starting all over again. You got this! Don’t give up ❤
Starting a new channel is so hard... I plan to only produce one good long form video vs on my old channel, where I "spammed" low quality consistent content. It's tough to get views on your first videos if you basically have close to - long form videos... Any ideas? FYI I have 38 subs & have the community tab!
So I was doing all of these for my channel and it was showing growth up until 3 weeks ago when youtube changed their system. Now my channel is dying and shorts are not getting views, they were averaging 12k to 15k and some higher. Now they average around 50 views and my sub count has dropped significantly. So, these methods may not work any more. They certainly aren't for my channel now.
I remember struggling with getting consistent views to my other channel (not this one of course). Some days people would watch my videos and some days I couldn't make it to 30-ish views in total. Thankfully I discovered Famester which pretty much normalized the situation and I was in charge of my views for the first time. Before finding this method, I thought I would've never get monetized.
I'm under 500 subs, but got the community tab unlocked for some reason.. I tried it out couple of times, but literally no one interacts or even sees it so I deleted them I think the community tab is only useful if you've already got a lot of subs, because the more people interactwith it, the more RU-vid will show it to new people just like with videos
Amazing video! The speaker mentioned remixing long form videos into shorts, posting on the community tab, creating playlists, and titling them in an appealing way. It's such a helpful strategy! Boost App Social has been instrumental in creating eye-catching thumbnails and optimizing my video titles to attract more views!
@@davidmittchel It offers a range of tools and features, including curated fonts, stickers, and gifs, that help me create visually appealing thumbnails. It also provides AI-powered insights and suggestions on how to optimize my video titles for maximum impact. It's a game-changer for increasing views on RU-vid!
@@davidmittchel I can vouch for Boost App Social's impact on increasing views. It has significantly improved the visual appeal of my thumbnails and helped me optimize my video titles to attract more viewers. Highly recommend giving it a try!
Thanks for the video! But some of us don't see the Remix option..? Or at least not on all videos. Is there some requirement that the video has to have? I tried short and long formats, old and new videos.. Still nothing. Did you get it with some new app update, or does the option just pop out of nowhere? Maybe a phased rollout..? EDIT: In addition to the above, I'm able to write community posts, tho I don't have 500 subscribers yet. And I don't have a playlist link above my video titles like you've shown, tho they are all sorted into playlists? I would appreciate it if you could also explain how to do that. Or is it even simply there, or not visible at all..?
Whoever is seeing this don't give up on your RU-vid channel. I started a couple weeks ago and am still slowly building up. It's all about consistency and dedication. I believe in you! Good luck! ❤️
Something to know, since RU-vid rolled out the new music policy, the Remix may not work if you've used any music in the video. This even goes for the free music. I've complained to RU-vid and they refuse to take action.
Lol literally hit us with the transition method while telling us to check out the next vid on how to do the transition method haha, you're good! I haven't watched the next vid yet! But i'm pretty sure from what it sounds like, that was it!
The community post feature is available for channels with less than 500 subs. I have two channels that got them, one had only around 100 subs, the other had about 40 subs.
I've been seeing a lot of people saying this but I still don't have access to the community feature. Is there something you have to do to enable it if you're under 500 or is it just luck of the draw?
@@LauraStepney Might be lick of the draw. I first got it in my bewer live channel that was only a few months old, and then a few days later on my main channel that was over a year old. This was right when they announced that they were going to start opening up features to channels with fewer subs. You do have to have your channel settings in order, if I recall. So 2-part verification, no strikes, etc.
@@Mr_Dancy_Pants Strange. I have everything in order, 2 step verification done and no strikes...guess my name just hasn't made it to the top of the list yet.
I was really excited with the thought I could take a long form video I had done and remix it into a short. My best video is 8 months old, when I tried to turn it into a short to remix it, it seems the video may be too old. Anything 7 months or newer gave me the option to remix the video into short. Just an observation from a small channel, but it appears there may be a shelf life on our older long form videos and the ability to remix them into shorts. Like said, anything 7 months or new, I get the option to remix, older than 7 months, the option is just not there. Maybe it's because I am just under 1000 subscribers, but maybe not. I just don't know.
I have just started my channel with RU-vid shorts. I believe that 2023 is the lucky year for me. So, to all my new RU-vidr friends best of luck and keep doing the great contribution to make this World a better place.
RU-vid Short gave me 3.2k views when i couldn't even get 50 views on a normal video. Tip. Always use nice 5 to 10 sec intros in you shorts. That'll keep people interested in your video. Hope this helps
Can I ask you a question? When I upload videos, I get to choose if I want to sort my videos after ”most popular” or ”newest videos”. This is a choice I get, so that I can decide the videos that are being recommended after watching my videos etc. and where my videos will show up when people are surfing on RU-vid. (Hope I got that right). But which one gives more views for me? Sort after new videos or most popular ones? How do I use this correctly?
I sometimes wonder when the right time is to start with a new channel. My channel just can’t seem to pick up steam. I have 2900 subs after 5 years. I haven’t been able to get a compounded level of growth
@@jaredmellothat's because your thumbnails are also 5 years old. Change your thumbnails to attract younger/ wider audience, use brighter and shorter text (can even hire a thumbnail editor).
There's definitely a balance there. The reach of Shorts right now is undeniable, but long-form is still where you build trust and community for sure. 💖💯
@@ThinkMediaTV I agree I’m pretty new to RU-vid and I’ve noticed that my video’s barely get any views and some get a good handful of views. I’ve also tried the websites that push your videos but I want my videos to reach people organically lol I need help
Thanks for this. I have just started my RU-vid journey and have taken away a lot of good advice especially end cards. Unfortunately small content creators can't access the community tab till we have 500 subscribers which is a long long way yet but here's hoping someday!!
@RosaGroza dont focus too much on sub count. Only about 10% of Subs actually watch the content. RU-vid pays based on Adsense. So, focus more on views and watchtime. That will eventually lead to subs. Once you get monetized, subs don't matter as much. There's channels with 200K subs averaging 20K views and channels with 20K subs averaging 200K views. I'll rather be the latter.
Thanks for the advice, I'm experiencing this issue in my channel too, even tried re-formating my contents. Hoping good things are coming to my channel and also to everybody else's channels. Just don't give up. Good luck to everyone🙏❤️
These are the best tips I've ever seen period. And especially for a channel going no where like mine! One thing, I don't understand how you get the playlist blue text above the title?
