I bought this Small Electric Dehumidifier to get rid humidity in my house. Here where I live humidity is very high, as it rains 260 days per year. I tested the device for about 2 weeks before sharing my experience in this review. This dehumidifier is small and handy. If does dehumidify the air.

Any idea why it can only be used above a certain temperature,I was hoping to put one in my summerhouse during the winter ?

The question you asked is completely excellent. And here is the answer: Simply google " Dew point " on Wikipedia there is very good explanation why and where water condensates, please have a look a the humidity vs temperature chart that will show you exactly in what conditions dehumidifiers work best for particular environment.

What is the water percent level before turning unit on, what is the water level in percent after several hours of being turned on, how much water can collect per day depending on the humidity levels? If you could provide that information it will definitely be very helpful, without all that info, we can not say that it does its job.

What is the water percent level before turning unit on - Water level is zero, before you turn it on. water level in percent after several hours of being turned on. - It depends on the humidity and temperature . Please read and understand the following link. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dew_point how much water can collect per day depending on the humidity levels? Yes it does. Depending on condition. Please read the following link again how much water can collect per day depending on the humidity levels? It all depends on conditions if you live on a desert like nevada, arizona or texas with relatively low humidity you will not collect much water form the air. If you live in amazon forest you will get great results I would honestly say that in that conditions you should be able to collect at least half a liter par day.
