I have been renting for over 38 years and only once had a decent freezer; wish RU-vid existed when I was raising children-but I suppose it is just my time to finally learn organization skills- Grateful for this video and have subscribed!

If you label bins on both sides you can rotate food, making sure you eat what is there first but still being able to add. On the lower part a couple of trays would help you pull out & see what you have.

My freezer in my new apartment didn’t come with a shelf at all and omg it’s a mess every time I open the door it’s an avalanche! Can’t wait to do this!!!

I just some of those metal stands for the dishes and it works great I get a shelf and I get space for large things on the other side if needed or use several different styles lol I like to change things around a lot especially as we use items

I have been looking for some bins like that for the freezer to keep everything contained and in its place. I never would have thought to put my jade roller in the freezer, I bet it feels great! I used to be headache prone too, if you know anyone that has a Melaleuca account ask them to get the vitamin packs for you. Sometimes headaches are from a mineral deficiency, I don't know what I was missing but I haven't had a migraine since.

I did this transfer of frozen items to Ziploc freezer bags this past week, and absolutely love it. I hated dealing with the stupid twist ties on bread bags. Now all I do is take out what I need and put the bag back in the freezer.

I love this idea I have a side by side which is still kinda of small this will also help me because I was just diagnosed with ADHD and my freezer and fridge are always a mess. After cleaning and organizing they may stay that way for a week or 2.

Your timing is perfect! I'm sharing how we organize our side-by-side fridge on Feb. 27th and our side-by-side freezer on March 13th! We did purchase some more product (most of it is from Target), however, I'm very much looking forward to the fresh!

I love the professional storage containers--where did you find those??? And love the honest details like the Incident of the frozen melted frozen Klondike and the not so icy popsicle and the broccoli jamboree. It's good to know that real people can get organized!

Not sure if it would work but I’d add a little label to write what’s in each bin to inventory it. Wet erase may work 🤔

I wish I seen this video before buying a another freezer as I have the same freezer as you’ve got but I couldn’t get it to fit everything in so I had to buy an undercounter freezer but if I’ve seen this video I may not have had to.

My question is I am single and live in an apartment with small freezer. I like my fruit smoothies and the bags of frozen fruits take up a lot of room. Also, I can't eat a whole loaf of bread before it goes bad, so I take out 4 slices and put into fridge. Where can I put a loaf of bread? My freezer is packed. Maybe I should shop less often, especially produce because it goes bad fast!

The towels are wrapped around freezer packs (I use them to relief headaches).

@@TheOrganizationStation Always looking for natural ways to get ride of a headache. I use a cold towel with peppermint never thought to use an ice pack wrapped in a towel. Have to give it a try. Thank you for sharing again! Have a nice day!

First time viewer/subscriber. 1. Is that a Method cleaner you’re using in freezer? If so what scent? I’ve just been putting bagged frozen items standing up vertically in freezer but I also like your containers. 2. I’m just wondering if the Dollar Tree plastic baskets w. handles that you can grip (white, gray &?)would work in freezer? You could prob place items standing up vertically from front to back, so when you pull out basket, bags are facing you. 3. What kind of pen do you use if any to write on plastic bags? Dry erase markers? I bought 2 fab Ice Cube trays w. lids and a flap to pour water from I believe a 99 cent store in CA-could’ve been Dollar Tree. The brand is Gourmet-distributed by Momentum Brands in Commerce CA-BPA free, holds 14 cubes, lid prevents cubes from absorbing freezer odors & top rack dishwasher safe.

Great organizing video! Why do you keep your super glue in the freezer? Is this a pro tip?

Good question! It extends the lifetime of the glue (the nozzle doesn't get all crusty and clogged) because it is a very dry place that lacks moisture.

When you move items into a Ziploc bag, how do you remember what temp to bake an item and how long?

I have the same freezer. Any idea how to adjust the shelf? Mine has a second set of holes above the shelf, but I have no idea how to remove the shelf from the current holes.

Rude! This is free advice. If it doesn’t apply let it fly! As a professional cleaner for 20 yrs, I’d often use a light soap and water solution to clean fridge/freezer but sprays are very handy. I believe she used a Method cleaner from Target. The labeling method is handy for many & I don’t remember her mentioning what coffee maker she uses. If so, so what? It’s her site. FYI speed up the video if it’s not up to your speed. Santa may leave you coal in your stocking this year!
