Hymer and Mercedes-Benz are a good combination that needs no further description among connoisseurs!
This car is small with a spacious interior and is easy to tow around parking everywhere.
Registered for 5 people with seat belts for all 5. Driven with a normal driving licence, Class B.
The car is ahead of its time in terms of electric windows, electric mirrors, ASR and other equipment.

I like the idea of having a driver's door on a Class A motorhome (or integrated motorhome, as it is known in Europe), so the driver doesn't need to go all the way to the main door. This was common in North America decades ago, but is now rarely seen.

Thanks for the comment. You are right, it is difficult if the driver has to go all the way to the back to get out of the car. Interesting that you say the North American cars don't have it, most European integrated motorhomes have a door on the driver's side. Have a nice day.

@BobilagentenAS The difference may be height: in North America Class A's are generally only the largest RVs and are very tall, with the floor height above the wheel wells, so the climb in and out of a driver's door would be awkward... and so driver's door disappeared when floor height went up decades ago.

What are the controls behind the panel in front of the sink? I'm not familiar with the symbols on them.

The red taps are for blocking the supply of gas to the fridge, hob and hot water tank.

That makes sense; it is unexpected for me because North American RVs typically don't have any extra gas fittings in the interior, and if there are shut-off valves they're not in a readily accessible panel. Specifically the refrigerator gas supply is kept out of the unit interior, since a gas-fueled refrigerator has an outside-vented area on the back anyway.

Hello. This 2005 model has already been sold quite a while ago, so unfortunately I don't have the opportunity to measure it, but I reckon the internal measurement is just over 2 metres. Have a nice day.
