Looks like you used Birch like Jonas Olsen makes a lot of dust doesn`t it? Still lovely little Owl, and all freehand I noticed. Well done you have a gift and it helps us lesser carver when you show how very little tool achieve results like this. Best regards from John in England.
Thank you for this beautiful tutorial 😊. I was wondering as a special request is it possible to do a tutorial on Christ's face in the wood? Will really appreciate 😊 thanks once again .
Wonderful work. Even if the wood you are using is very soft, the burr seems to cut through it like butter. Whenever I try to make deep cuts like that they seem to catch and jump almost scarring me. Are you pushing very hard but just have great control? Any guidance here would be very helpful. Thank you.
Laurie McConnell Hey there. How you holding the handpiece? I holding the handpiece strong for sure and really close .Especially deep cuts or when I using corse burrs. Also the directions is matter too which way you moving that burr.
Thank you for the reply. I don’t think I’m holding the hand piece like you, more of a pencil grip. I rewatched your video and took note of your grip a little closer. I’ll try chocking up on the hand piece more, use more of a handle grip and as close to the burr as I can. Which direction do run the motor? I think I have been running mine in reverse. This seems to throw the dust away from me. Thank you very much for your help.
