See how we winnow our sorghum grain, as well as a 3D printed gadget my son made to remove hulls from the grain. We have more grain than this, we're just making a quick video showing you our process.

Thanks a lot. I have lots of sorghum that grew from birdseed falling on the ground!

O that's right! Sorghum (aka milo) is a common bird seed filler and the birds peck it out of the way/to the ground to eat the seeds they prefer. While the birds don't eat a lot of our sorghum grain on the stalks if we harvest it soon enough, I wish they would avoid it like they avoid it when it's in bird seed😃 ! Maybe I just need to put some sun flower seeds or cracked corn out to distract them. Thanks for watching and commenting! If you haven't, I hope you like and/or Subscribe!

If you are growing one of the red varieties of sorghum people are buying it for a high price to grind into flour. Its high in anti-oxidants.

Interesting, I had no idea. I don't even know what variety it is. I just know the variety I have was used to make syrup/molasses. I can say hull has a red color to it.
